    So,

Do i have any other option besides the Quaife LSD or am i stuck with that and only that?

I do not want to have to replace my 1000hp axles...not sure if you need to go with different axles if you go with the Getrag...

I'd love to go with BB's but too much denero for me

OS Giken has a sick unit that is about a hundy more than the quaife. What I like about it over the Q is the ability to adjust biasing with different springs on the clutch pack. I got to check this unit out at SEMA, very impressive.

You can go here: http://www.gounitrax.com/default.htm But there isn't any real information.

Also you can call Josh at HHP.

I don't know of anybody running this unit. But I would try it out in a heartbeat if I didn't already have what I got.

How about a full spool :).

Quaife's are pretty good and mine seems to be holding up fine. Half shafts on the other hand, this is my second set....grrrrrrrrrrr!

That's the one RennTech uses. A REALLY nice unit, but I don't know any LX guys using it.

I think no one is using it because we all kind of stopped looking for one after the Quaife came out.

So that means its basically the same so since people had the Quaife that they didnt see any reason to change and/or that people who were gonna get it just saw that everyone else had the Quaife so they got that one? lol

    No, it's a whole different technology...I'de get the Quaife...it's proven. K.I.S.S and if it ain't broke, don't fix it...Why do you want/need a LSD?

It does the same as a Quaife, but with the clutches not the gears in a quaife. It's more like the Getrag in how it works.

    Yea, me either, just sayin...
They both work, just different technologies applied...I like the helical gear design in the Quaife...very similar to a detroit true trac...proven for many years. What do you have against it?

And I like the clutches. Again, proven technology but much easier to overhaul when the time comes.

Doubt you would ever have to overhaul the Quaife. No clutches to wear out.
