In the new -December 2009- issue of MOPAR Collectors Guide is a car that some of you might find interesting. A guy in Canada took a 1969 Charger body shell, changed it over to 1968 (not that big a deal) but installed it on a 2007 Charger RT, body off, old body on, floor pan mods, etc, and used the 2007 interior, dash and all. Not to start a fight, but now it looks like a Charger (that 4 door LX body just doesn't look right, to me) This must have been a ton of work. The guy sounded like he would do it for others, I can see it now - a Dukes LX general lee - yuck! (hate that show, it was responsible for the total f'king up of more good chargers than anything)
This mag doesn't have this issue on its web site, I guess you will have to go old school and go take a look a your local new stand, its near the back of the mag.
No, that is not it; that car is an oldie with lx parts added, ie the dash etc. Note its door are old model on the interior. The one I am talking about is black, still running on the LX rims, full lx interior, chassis, and all
oh i know...but this is similar as its basically the body of an old one...but the rest is SRT8 lol....
Just to set the story straight, the 2006 Charger was never intended to be a retro car. It was purposely built as a four door family car. I love everything about my modern day charger. It is the reason I bought it, because of the 4 doors.
i am still up in the air.... i love my car...and think its a great car.... but the Charger name...i dunno....doesnt bother me too much clearly
x2...I mean who says something like this and doesn't post the pics!!! The 69 Charger is just dead sexy IMO...68 are a close second though. Stevo's pics are cool, but the interior is just...way out of place...some kinda retro update would have been much better IMO.
pretty much 100% with you on that one...if your gonna spend that much...get a custom nice interior done up for ya....
