The rest of them look fine to me, #3 got a little chip in it but I think that was from stuff flying in #1.

So sending the motor to Stu for a fix on #1 and a new piston and then putting her back in the game :future:

I do from ARP, why? (Also billet caps and main studs) When I pulled the heads I unscrewed them.

I am proud to say I did almost 99% of the work to pull the motor.

Aaaah you have the new and improved ARP's. lol I have the old school, so I have to pull the motor if I need to remove the heads.

    thats pretty ugly buddy!!!

i do have to laugh though....... the one pic of your car on stands out in the driveway of a rather nice looking neighborhood...... a neighborhood that probably has HOA's and people who do not do this type of work in their driveways...... i can only imagine what the neighbors are saying about you right now!!! lol

It does have a HOA but I am really a good neighbor... actually one of my neighbors helped guide the motor out today with the hoist and another came over and asked if I could look at his car and I cleared his codes with my Dash Daq and told him what he needed to fix.

The Pres. of the HOA came by on Saturday and asked what I was doing and I said "Changing a spark plug" and he just laughed and we talked for a few.... no one seems to mind me as I clean up everything at night never leaving it looking bad when I am not there and don't use the power tools after 8 on school nights.

Not sure what that comment means but ok....

    Cause?

3-4 levels too hot spark plugs (thanks Johnparts), possible fuel pressure issue, oil blow off from crankcase leaked down and filled spark plug wells and possibly down into the cylinder and causing a lower octane situation etc etc etc

Well, that's sort of good news all things considered right? Just the one cylinder? Bottom end came out ok?

I had buckets under the car and caught all the coolant etc in the garage.... the only thing was when the motor came out it pulled the TQ with it and a little unexpected tran fluid got on the driveway but I threw down a bag of kitty litter and stopped it... will get it all clean once I move the car back inside in a few days.

With all that in the pan, i would have to suspect it wiped out all bearings...you do plan a full refresh on it right? Not just change one piston and reassemble.
And damn dude, you drove it like that?????
