Thats awesome to know kingnate I got a little worried. I think a nice Coolingmist Stage 2 kit will be the last big purchase for my car.

ok looking at colder ranges if the LZTR5AIX-13 is the 2314 and the LZTR6AIX-13 is the 2315 and LZTR7AIX-13 is 5107

what would be the colder range for the LVTR5A-13 4306, PLZTR5A-13 4998, LZTR5AGP 3381, and the ITL 16?

    step 1 and 2 colder.

IIRC with japanese plugs the higher the number the colder the plugs and american plugs use a lower number to show the plugs cooler temp. And each manufaturer changes they way the convey heat ranges so a autolite with a range of 10 is not equivalent to a denso 10.

LVTR5A-13 4306 would be LVTR6A-13 4306 and LVTR7A-13 4306 respectively but they don't make these for our car.

PLZTR5A-13 4998 would be a PLZTR6A-13 4998 and PLZTR7A-13 4998 but again they don't make this and its a platinum plug so it shouldn't go into a FI car anyway and platinums typically come in 1 heat range only since they have to maintain a certain temp to clean themselves.

ITL 16 I'm not sure how denso does its numbering (this plug has a heat range of 16) have to figure that out but I believe the higher number colder plug holds true. like it looks like the next step colder is a ITL 20.

    etc. etc.

My S1 likes to run 1*-3.5* of knock in that range (spiking around 18psi). I have logged it a ton of times with different set ups including the stock wga. Every time around 4800 rpms it pulls a few degrees out and puts it back in before I hit redline. The higher the boost and the hotter the IAT's the more it pulls. Even with 101 in the tank it would still pull 1* out if it was a bit warm out. Usually if it holds knock till redline or pulls out 5+ on pump or 3+ on 101 I start to worry about what is going on and its typically boost is too high, plugs are old or plug wire went bad.

I'm going to be getting a AGP stage 3 delta 44 soon and I am wondering if the Denso ITL20 spark plugs are cold enough for this much power???

ITL 20 is going to be one step colder but I am guessing that if she is running these at this level you should be fine.

That link just showed a stupid baja truck rolling 100 times in a row. I remember hearing bad things about the E3 plugs somehwere on the kiddie forums.

My NGK Iridiums are holding up great..

Here's some info I came across from a friend that quoted this elsewhere, figured it would be good to add to this thread:

Lol, we are in the same boat!

I've been telling locals for a very long time, some would argue with me so I left it alone. I run the NGK 4306 on my SRT-4 as well as my wife's and no problems what-so-ever.

installed My new E3's and my MSD coil pack. It seems to have better midrange pick up from 2500 to 3000 and better throttle response over the 1500 mile 4306's. I'll put some miles on and see what I think. Could just be the Coil pack? Ill try both.
