First time ever taking the SRT to the track, and first time racing in over 2 yrs. Ran one 8.9, bunch of 8.6s, an 8.5, and this was my best... Car is bone stock with the Predator 91 octane tune (non-CAI tune). Rear stock RSA tires at 27psi, fronts left alone at 32psi. Leaving at 1200rpm and rolling into the throttle. Lots of cool down time as I was waiting for my buddy w/ a G8 to show up... Will be there with 275/45/17 DRs next month and if its colder, should get pretty DAMN close to the 7s as she sits w/ some tire. Then I will start modding the sled.
Not bad at all but its gonna take more than tires to get to 7's get a good CMR tune and a few other mods and your there. Did old man Jim come out in his Jeep?
Right where it should be...good job man...with the DR's and nothing else, you could/should drop a few tenths. Be careful with your stock rear shafts though, dunno if stock power will break yours, but i believe others have accomplished it.
Yeah he was out there running consistant 8.1s. I raced him my first pass (8.9), I spun getting a 2.4 sixty, and he tore me a new one with his 1.8 short time!
I new you would pick up once you got the launch under control so heres your run corrected to sea level. All my next 60' were 1.78 but i still spun a little thats why i could get a 1.75. I only had you by 2 tenths after all was done and if you can get a DYNO CMR TUNE and drag radials you will run better than me. Your car was very impressive. Did you notice b4 i left i put all my ice in your chest lol. Based on:9.05 pm Temp: 70.4° Humidity: 75% Track Altitude: 380 feet Pressure: 29.89 in. Density Altitude = 1488 feet (note the altitude ) Uncorrected 8.376 @ 88.73 converted to 1/4 mile 13.115 Corrected 8.24 @ 90.17
