My Corsa c/b is due here any day now. It's coming from Corsa, so I'm not sure if it will be the typical "cans" or the new slanted mufflers (like these...clicky)

    But I get a tingly feeling everytime I look at Stack's 440 Charger:worthy:

So should I powdercoat it flat black before it goes on?

Appearance wise, my windows are already blacked out. I plan to keep the Chally wheels, but widen the rears to 10" and powdercoat them satin/suede black with a TorRed stripe around the rim (like this...clicky) . I will be lowering it down the road, but not immediately... Whatcha think????

I thought these were pics of your car...LOL! I was thinking why powder coat anything...that car is perfect!

So I guess my vote would be for powder coating.

In my book, that tingly feeling is always a good thing...but who's asking?

Just an FYI, we don't powdercoat any of our exhausts, we've used powder before and been less than happy with the end result. Powder will not hold the deep black you're looking for. Make sure to have it ceramic coated if you do decide to coat it. I'm sure many have used powder, but I'd prefer ceramic.

    Hope this helps...enjoy your day.

I think the black exhaust looks outstanding with black wheels. Without the black wheels, maybe not so much.

I didn't know Corsa went to the slanted resonators. Not sure if I like that better or not. Nothing visible back there would be best but if something has to be back there I don't know which I'd rather see.

I was planning on swapping them out. By the time they notice, I'll be long gone!
hehe, I wish. Only thing I'll never be able to justify to my self is the $5K price tag for the rims. $5K towards a killer 436, yes. Wheels...just...cant...do it... lol
First off, in case you didnt notice, I like your car.:worthy:

Second, I'm sure the cost just tripled to have this done (ceramic vs p/c)....

To anybody...Where's a good place to have the ceramic coating done and how much do I need to lube up:cry:
Junior on LXF is the only person I've seen post about them. Got his direct from Corsa and they said that was the new style once all the cans are off the shelves. Since mine is also coming from Corsa, I'm assuming they will be slanted as well...

Go for the black, especially if your planning on painting your wheels black.

I think I'm gonna do it. Now to find a local shop that does good ceramic coating...
Wow, thats not bad at all! Did you have the whole catback done or just the rear pipes/resonators/tips?

    That's OK, I'm getting no-acked here :(

I called Specialized in HB, without seeing it, they guesstimated approx $250ish to have the whole catback coated. But I think he was thinking from the headers back and I couldnt tell him how many feet long it was, etc, etc...

Once I get it from UPS, I'm gonna head over and get a real quote. I will ask if they will give discounts if we give them several exhaust systems. If they do, I'll gauge interest here and see if we can set it up. If they knew they were gonna coat several sets, I dont see why they wouldnt knock a lil $$$ of the price...
