oh yea, last time I removed the runners, I checked the port match from head to gasket and runner to gasket. They were a perfect match.

Not a bad idea, but now we get into the alignment issue again. The snout support bracket will not be high enough and will cause belt run out.

The stock gasket is .061 thick and the Bwoody is .125. You could install .060 shim stock under the snout support to make up for it. Also if you do this Ron, get some copper head gasket spray and coat the shit of the the spacer. Ya, ya, I know you guys think they seal, but they don't. The copper head gasket sealant works like a champ.

    GREAT SUGGESTION ADAM!!. :friends:

EXACTLY ^^^. If it was, the clog would be between the canister and the intake tube. That always vents no matter what.

Ron, I'd do the Bwoody spacer and get some shim stock. If you want, I'll take care of it when you're out here. I have everything here to do it with, you just need to get the spacers.

Adam, I love you too. haha

Damn, I really wanted this fixed before driving out, Cam. Plugs are fricke expensive. lol I will call Mike at BWoody shortly and see if he has them in stock? I think the belt will still fit with the added 1/4" though? Guess I should look for a longer belt just to be safe? haha

    Thanks guys. :worthy:

WHAT!?!? You're telling me that with more than a few seconds after turning the engine off there was still pressure/vacuum in your catch can!!!!

Something has to be plugged tight right? Something that shouldn't be... Where's the other end of the catch can go? And the whole system is open on the intake side right? How in the world are you getting pressure/vacuum in your catch can with the motor off?

bout the only thing I can think of is the inlet side of the can is plugged tight... hmm, guess that's what Adam said about the stuck/plugged PCV valve . You sure you didn't install your PCV valve backwards? The arrow is supposed to point AWAY from the motor.

Saw this in a post on DS's site. http://www.et-performance.com/turbo.html
Sounds like the perf/emissions claims are the normal hype but if it's a quality part it might make a better PCV valve?

Mike@BWoody is going to send me a check valve to place between the catch can and the PCV Valve. They have seen this similar issue with the SRT4's and some other Super Charged applications. They placed the Check Valve in and the issue went away.

    Worth a try?

Don't need it bud. The system works just like a normal set-up. I can't speak for the 4's, but you're cool just the way you are. If you want to check your system. Attach a vacuum to PCV tube that is attached to the intake tube at the housing. You should have vacuum at the vent tube located at the filter. If you don't, something is clogged in between. Watch your lines and make sure they are not collasping.

So check this out. The engine builder for Techco spent most of the day here with me in the shop. At the end of the day we're talking about the leak on Rons ride. I tell him check this out and I show him the gasket matched to the port. He goes..."oh ya, we always had problem with that POS".

    I just went.. :what:
