The one I have doesnt seem to work with this belt... ..... ... ... Dang it.....I was about a mile from home when I punched it in 2nd gear at about 30mph....tires blazed squeeled for mercy putting a big smile on my face....till I let off the gas and noticed the steering felt funny... .........amazing how fast a temp gauge can climb when you are trying to make it home.....and the steering...the steering wheel was cracking & popping as I negotiated the turns...mainly because it took all i had to turn the thing......came to a 4 way stop and the engine quit...temp was at 250 and climbing................pulled off and sat for 30 minutes.....did a last rush up hill all the way home for about half a mile............ .. __________________
Haha, not only does the heat climb really fast but it takes *forever* to cool off when you pull over to wait on it.
been there done that a few times, Larry. haha If you really do need the belt diagram, call me, I'll go look at M's truck. haha
Thanks Ron but I have a diagram to go by...just wont be using the belt in the picture..LOL........just making light of a minor problem....though I am going to have to address this..2nd time this has happened in 6 months.....probably going to add another tension pulley..
Looks to be good...I just think it is the distance from the pulleys mounted on the engine and the one on the SC.......about a foot....I know 2 other owners with my setup who have added another tensioner pulley near the SC pulley...they have not had a problem...
