ralph, when you did adams car, it was with the stock motor and vortech right??? i am thinking at this point it would not be needed for me. your thoughts???? do it while it is apart, or is taking the basket out that much more work????

Hey guys, this mod without drilling anything supported 630HP on Trojans car. He stopped tunning on it at that point and it wasn't because it was out of fuel. I think it best to stay out of modifing the fuel hat until you have too. It is only plastic ya know.

Thanks Ralph!!! Good to know!!! This is what I was trying to find out. I think there's a LOT of guys on here that could benefit from this. Very cool, ya pioneering sunuvabitch!!! :) Would this be of any "gain" to me right now in my current "all-motor 426" setup??? Is it even necessary at 500rwhp?? Or should I wait til I do forced induction?? And lastly, Ralph. Can you PM me a price for the rails, crossover, and for the line and fittings upgrade from the fuel tank? Thanks. :D

Looks just like mine! haha...the biggest thing is the correct connector by the top of the basket that ralph has because if you get one thats too big or hits the body, you will put pressure on it and thats makes for a sad panda LOL

I am with CAM on this one lol...it was a BITCH to do (believe me..I know...I watched chris curse at the thing LOL).....

My thought as to why I did it was, I never ever want to touch it again LOL....so yeah its probably highly unnecessary for most cars to have to drill out the hole....but, if your looking for "Max flow" from that stock bucket...thats what you would have to do....
