Well, Lisa and crew and BMC has got the car back together and it has been Johan at Diablosport for tuning. Unfortunately, the dyno pull and tuning did not get finished. In short, the car ran out of fuel. At this point the car has the following installed:

    426 long block from CMW/Stage 4 heads
    Techco 3.0L supercharger w/ 10 P.S.I. pulley kit
    Mopar Performance Stage 2, 3R Fuel Injectors — +30% P4510529 (82-83#)
    RDP 2800 stall
    Quaife
    Paramount Axles
    Magnaflow highflow cats
    Kenne Bell BAP
    DMH exhaust cutouts
    Cragar cat-back exhaust
    Labonte methanol/water injection w/failsafe
    Gauges – boost, air/fuel, EGT
    Custom tune at Diablosport

I have attached the Dyno sheet from Johan with the following notations/exceptions:

    1. WOT was never achieved due to the lack of fuel
    2. Timing was at 12 degrees, but again never saw WOT
    3. Only saw 9 p.s.i., again no WOT
    4. I got my Techo back in January of 2009, one of the first few. The kit was sent to me with the low PSI pulley kit and hardware. At this point, Techco was working on the high PSI kit, but had not finished it. The fuel rails that came with the standard kit are still the same fuel rails I am using now, so although I have upgraded injectors, I am still using stock pump, stock lines and what is more than likely a stock sized fuel rail from Techco.

IMO, the car pulled a fairly good number considering it started running out of fuel at a little more than 4000 r.p.m.’s. The pull was done about 2 weeks ago. Since then Lisa and Johan have consulted and apparently Lisa changed the was the BAP was wired in. I am waiting on another slot to come open for Johan, and we can see if the car does any better. If not, then my preference is to go all the way and put in a complete fuel system that has crossovers at the rails, upgraded rails, a rising rate fuel regulator and a return fuel line to the tank.

OK, does anybody have any useful comments or suggestions?

Yeah I got advice. Get a transmission first. :D You're gonna fry the stock one in less than 1,000 miles. GUARANTEED. Holler at Eddie at SHR.

As for the fuel, I'm no expert, but your idea of a full system seems to be the best fix for others that have gone your path. What does Trojan have on his KB / 426 setup??

Geezus Brad, your sled is gonna FLY!!! 10 second car for sure!!! Damn dude.....I'm jealous.

    Really? Guaranteed?

    hmmm

3 years later, I am STILL on my OEM tranny with no issues. And yea, I have been around 600rwhp all three of those years. And yea, I have hundreds of passes down the 1320 on DR's. ;) Just sayin.

However, it is not a bad idea to at "Least" have a new tranny as a back up. :)

Hey Brad, I'm not sure what your plans are for a fuel system. But I'd like to suggest only changing out the fuel line to a -6 first. Also how the BAP is wired makes a huge difference, what did they do there??. We went much further then these numbers on Trojans car. If you're not sure what to get, contact MOL, he'll hook you up.

We're currently waiting for an opening to take the car back to Johan and see if the wiring changes on the BAP improve things. We definitely expected to see better numbers with the upgraded injectors and BAP, so I want to give this a try before putting in a whole system. The upgraded lines is also something on the table, but I would like to see what numbers it puts down as-is before determining what else is/isn't needed.

Trust me, before you waste your time with Johan again. Upgrade to the -6. It's a couple hundred bucks, two hours of your time and well worth it. If you determine you need to upgrade to the fore fuel hat, you can use this line as the return (just leave yourself some slack). So the money is by no means wasted.

Very funny...I just had this conversation with Lisa 2 hours ago, and that is exaactly what I am doing. I told her it wouldnt hurt to put the fuel line in and if it worked great....If not and we went to a FORE we could use it for return!!! HAHA

Well ... Johan thought it was worth putting on the dyno again as-is ...

So, I was willing to spend my time taking the car down to Diablo again to see what we could get from BAP and injectors only, and then actually have some facts and data for us and everyone ... and maybe save Brad a bunch of money, too.

Like Brad said, earlier today we talked and we are going to do the upgraded lines and then go back to Diablo. We're planning to get that done in a couple of days, so updates to follow.

I know, I am impatient! haha... I am the kind of guy that likes to hedge his bet, so if we can go to Johan with a big enough gauge line and its still falls on its butt for lack of fuel, we will know it isnt because of the fuel line, its pump, rails, etc...

Also, Johan is a busy guy and it's feels like standing in line at Disney during New Years Eve to get another slot.....
