Today was the final No Bull series for the season. For those of you who do not know what the No Bull Series is, it is a Street style race at the track. Staging is go on green (NO TREE) with index classes. Outlaw (8.5 or slower), 10.0, 11.5, 12.5, 13.5, and 14.5. If you break out, you are disqualified. Anywho, I ran the 13.5 class on my 22's. hahaahaha Not too bad. I advanced to the finals to race a GT500 (female driver). Well there was no way I was going to be behind a GT500, so it was balls to walls. lol I took the jump out of the hole and maintained a three car lead, but knew I was going too fast, so about 400' from the trap I let off the gas. I crossed the traps first and was pretty excited. Well, until I got my time slip that is. hahaha Yup, I broke out with a 13.3@93 (hahahahahaha). Oh well. With that out of the way I wanted to go all out to see what I could muster up on the 22's... Best I could do was a [email protected]. Second best was a [email protected] Oh, I was pretty consistent with a 2.02 60'. All in all I was pleased with my times considering the CRAPPY T$##co tune and a DA of 6300'. I will go back at the end of the month and try for those elusive 12.xx's again. My best times on the 20's and the old Paxton kit were 12.7@114, so the motor/blower combo really is doing well. IMO.
Sounds like a fun day for you Ron...good times considering DA and the jackass tune you have.....We had a finale street car race at the track today....couldnt have ordered better weather...
Nice! Ya... you definitely gotta X the Techno tune...Lol. At least your 60'ers aren't as bad as mine...
Was a great day. Everyone seemed to be having fun. lol Lot of my 10.0 buddies kept breaking out. lol Wish Maureen was there though, that was the only sucky part of the day. Drew, my hats off to the owners of the track. They really do a nice job with the prepping... I was surpised I was cutting 2.0x 60's all day. Even when I would punch it (around the 100' mark) I would spin just a little bit and then rocket forward. Can't wait til next year when I have fuel, tune, and DR's. My goal will be 11.5's up here. lol thanks buddy.
ive missed every single one this year lol along with all the other race events because of work. dammit lmfao im hoping next year will be better for me and paula, her pt as only made it once this year.
The OEM's are in the garage. The former 22's (Iforged) were sold back in December 08 when I was changing to the USW's.
Gotta love the fact that even with big honkin rims, a messed tune, crazy bad DA, and that wicked show car paint job, it still did low 13s. Some guy in a stripped down hunk of junk had to have been thinking what in the holy hell?
