I too got "SCREWED" by TECHCO, and CTP will come to the rescue...

Well guys and gals, I have a 2008 Corvette that got "SCREWED" by TECHCO. Of course they are no longer around to honor their written and signed powertrain warranty. With Cam's help, I discovered that my intercooler most likely has an internal leak, since no leaks can be observed externally, and the fill tank reservoir is not staying at the full level and holding fluid, even after one trip. We seem to think that I may have the same issue that Hemi 911 did. Cam can only work on my car in the second week of November, but I am hoping that he will find some time to do so sooner. I would like to thank Cam and CTP ahead of time for speaking with me via the phone and e-mails.

Hey Now, no picking on Chevy's. I come in piece. :friends: Cam is my ONLY hope, since he knows these blowers inside and out. There is not ONE Corvette shop in the country that has any experience with TECHCO blowers, replacement parts, or knows how to work on them. Before closing down, TECHCO installed their blowers on 3 - 4 Corvettes, as they were in the process of releasing kits to shops and DIY installers, but never got around to doing so.

Dam that scenario sounds familiar, but you are in luck. Cam being the man, already has the practical experience in fixing the Techco Intercooler leaks, and has all the tools and test equipment available to fix it in a timely matter. I would not drive it much until Cam gets to it! You will be in good hands with Cam, and back on the road in no time!

 

Thank you so much for your kind support sir. I will be anxiously waiting for Cam to see me. I would like ot enjoy my car some before winter, and will not be driving it much until the issue can be resolved. Cam will be looking at the intercooler leak and bleeding my cooling system, as some air still appears to be trapped in the system. Matt Robertson also spoke highly of Cam. Techco only installed 3 - 4 of their superchargers on Corvettes, and had not yet started shipping their kits out to shops and consumers alike.

Oh, by the way, did you happen to get one of those T-shirts from Techco, If not I probably could send you one so you don’t feel left out!!! I think they gave one to all of their customers.

 

Yes, I even got TWO of them AND a hat, LOL. I guess they really new I was getting screwed. My wife was so mad, that she used the T-shirts to clean the trunk of her car.

Yea, they really "Screwed" me... Believe you me, the front fascia is a drop in the bucket compared to what I went through for the first four months of this year... My story is actually being "Nice"... and not fully shared.

 

Hey, it will also be good for a collector/absorbent around the intercooler reservoir when Cam fills it back up, after he fixed the leak. Keep the other one it's going to be a collectors item, being sold on ebay next year!

You know one good thing, as long as you do not see Cam on here giving us shit, you know he is busy out in his shop wrenching. That only means he will be fixing your intercooler leak sooner. Steve, I am anxious to see how Cam can resolve you butt plug problem!!
