Alternate drop in K&N filter.....

    Found a cone type filter that fits the Ram SRT10 stock air box....only requires very minor modification to the inside of the box lid...K&N part # 0776...

    only modification is to trim about a 1/4" off the CV vent walls..

    Wow, good find. I guess there's no problem with sealing?

    Fit like a glove...the filter is actually for the 5.9 diesel which has a similiar box to the 10...

    A hose from the valve cover attaches to the lid on the airbox. The area I show is under the lid........an oil catch can could be spliced into the line running from the valve cover to the box....some just put a small K&N filter on the valve cover tube and block off the box vent but you will get some fumes in the cab.
