This is a late post, as I did this in Aug 7 for the Famoso T&T.

This was taken on my way to get them mounted and balanced.

    After the mount.

    And the finished product.

Looks like a winner, to bad my SRT didn't perform to my expectations. Or to anyone else's for that matter.

How are those slicks with the normal front tires?

The rims are Borbet 17x8.5 and the slicks are 28.0/10.0-17.

I noticed a lil swaying toward the last 1/8 but no biggie.

I averaged 2 to 3 tenths slower with my new set up that day. And by new I mean heads/cam, 85mm t/b, SLP u/d pulley. I need a tune bad!

FYI The swaying is the nature of the beast'Slicks" As for the slower times it might be the taller tire you are running,Just a thought. How were your 60's?

I ran four times that night. And my 60's where 1.961, 1.981, 1.931, and 1.968. I just couldn't get a good burn out and all of them were one legged.

Heres a little trick. When you do your burn out,the minute you see smoke pulse your brake pedal,It should get your other wheel going..

What was your tire pressure? What was the outside temp? The warmer it is outside the more pressure you can run,Less pressure means more resistance but sometimes that cant be helped, especially if its cool out side..

I see, thanks for the tip. I ran the slicks @ 18psi. And the temp was in the mid 70's.

I could make it as a spectator only. No funds available for racing bro. :(
