turbo would be nice, considering they only have 295 hp on the s but their light as all-get-out. i think id have to test drive one first.

I was seriously contemplating one before I got my SRT...great car, but I think I will hold out for a 911 down the road.

all good points but single guy here, dont have the pretty family that you have so its not an option. the only thing keeping me from it is if it is a.) slow as balls or b.) un-moddable. if i can get one for around low 40's then id do it.

good point as well but this is going to be my daily driver so i dont need anything crazy. or as crazily expensive as a 911.

Cayman is one of the best lookinc cars Porsche has built in years. My all time favorite though is the widebody 993. I've had mine over 5 years now (a record for me) but I may sell in the Spring as I focus more on racing the SRT-8.

Wanna nice (VERY nice) used 911?

Man - I just love those lines!!!

if you were closer to me i might take ya up on it! but your right, beautiful car indeed. saw one yesterday and i was really taken back by it so thats what made me begin my inquiry. how is the quality? any particular problems that plagued your 911?

It's a 1996, and the only problems have been due to lack of use. No real issues. 54,000 miles. Still worth a huge % of what it cost new - even 12 years after it first saw the road. They only made 2,000 of mine over a three year period. It's a C4S, which is the 4 wheel drive widebody car. I'd be shocked if you actually saw one on the road. After 5 years of ownership, I've still only seen 3 others in person.

I'd say among the exotic, or near exotic cars, Porsche has a reputation for being the most reliable, least expensive to maintain of any of the cars. My knowledge is limited on the newer stuff though.

Go to rennlist.com for info. It's the best Porsche-based forum.
