Does this mean there's still hope!

The Police in Thousand Oaks Ca, have been running a sting at Christmas time for a few years wher the put thousands of $$$ worth of high end electronics "computors, dvd plyers, X Boxes, Plystations" in an unlocked car parked at malls, this year it was a successfull falure! not one thing stollen! people locked the doors closed the trunk notified mall management/security, and even called the police to let them know. So does this mean people are getting better, or is it because it was Thousand Oaks? which is a pretty nice city from what I've seen.

Thousand Oaks consistently gets rated one of the safest cities in the country. Makes me wonder why they'd even bother running a sting like this. I guess it gives them something to do. :grin:

 

also allows them to show stats that their stings and overall police activities are good!!

 

Or.... maybe its the cops that are getting dumber

they might as well parked the cars at the police station! They want real results do the same sting in a bad area of town.:doh:

I seriously doubt that there IS a bad part of town in T.O. It's pretty upscale.
