one thing i noticed....... you only have 9500 miles on your car chase???? wtf!!! talk about someone with more forum posts than miles on his car!!! lol
Well.....at least they are both correct when your water gets to 260......lol Wonder why they picked a temp as warm as 170 to start monitoring water? Kind of a weak range.
Well I actually know the answer to that since well.... I am the cluster God the change didn't have anything to do wt the srarting temp of 140 to 170 but the middle temp, 200 to 215. These cars stock run closer to 215 and so people were bringing them into the dealershipz complaining they were overheating and running hot since 200 was the middle # and the gauge on the 05-06s mades it look like it is running hit to an untrained eye. So in short Dodge changed it, you have to remember stock only the SRTs get actual #s there, stock SXT,SE,R/T only get "C & H" (unless you get a redfox racing cluster )
And the redline is marked at 6250 on one and 6750 on the other? lol I got more posts than miles....you gotta problem with it? LOL
Chase, I'm sorry you got the wrong year gauge face. Did you call us about the error or anything? This is the first we've heard of it and I know Mikey worked with you for a while on the order and told US Speedo it was for a 2006. At any rate, I have Mikey working on this for you and we'll get it taken care of. Thanks.
wow Ken... your's is wrong too.. you also have an '07 Gauge face for your '06 Car.... I didn't sell that one either :getlost:
Hey chase, I am shooting you a PM as well, but I have spoken to US Speedo on the Gauge face about the 06/07 difference in the water temp. They are sending you out a new one as early as Monday. You will not need to send the one you have back. Sorry for the confusion! Not sure who sold Ken those, it was not us either :bye:
I bought mine from PFYC. They had them on special for $149 with free shipping last summer. Shame on me, I didn't even notice the difference. :stars: Ken
Looks great man! You need to check out the DIY on braided lines and AN fittings. That will take your engine bay from "Bad f-ingass!" to "First place for best engine bay goes to...." BTW- "What is "P-R-N-D"? I don't have that on my ride.
Wow. THANKS BMC!!! No, I didn't contact you guys on the error. I just kinda "dealt" with it. Cuz I knew what the measurements really were, so it wasn't that big of a deal. MAJOR KUDOS to you guys for just taking the initiative on this for me!!!! PM was received Mikey, you rule. Everyone needs to know that I have received the absolute best customer service from BMC, this wasn't their fault by any means. Very, very nice follow thru guys, and totally unexpected. THANK YOU!!!!! And Kevan, looking for your thread right now......I see your point.
does your Evic tell you temp anyway? I never even look at that on my dash haha...i just watch it on the evic..its more accurate anyways yeah BMC rocks my sox.... the whole crew there are good peeps
