Mine used to last about 5 days (discovered when I went for a 1 week vacation). Now it usually won't make it from Friday evening to Monday morning.

I suspect it has something to do with my alarm.
    * GPS unit for the alarm is always live.
    * 2 way pager does a handshake/keepalive with the alarm unit about every 5 seconds (900 mhz spread spectrum radio).
    * Peripheral sensor is always live
    * Digital tilt sensor is always live
    * glass break monitor is always live
    * it keeps the batter in the power disconnect alarm charged up
then there's the stock stuff in the car.

    Do you unplug your DasHawk?
I travel for as long as 2-3 weeks sometimes up to a month and my car always starts.....IF..... I remember too unplug my DasHawk.
26,000 miles on my 2006 and the same battery, but it is getting a little finicky on cranking power.

Don't have the DashHawk anymore, but when I did I unplugged it. It's the car alarm. Heavy duty security takes a lot of juice.:laser:

    Most excellent!

Don't let this battery thread die like the other ones did. I want to find something good that fits.

Well lets get this figured out then.

    Sears Platinum - part number?

    Odesey - part number?

Optima Red or Yellow top - part number?

Any others? Looks like ours are a 94R group, right? All I know is that they're HUGE and heavy.

Well it was not an exact fit, but it was so close, there was no problem using the existing mounting hardware that came with the vechicle. So yes it fit!!!

I had purchased the Odyssey battery for my charger in Sacramento, at top price. I replace the 4 lead acid batteries in my motor home with Odyssey batteries and purchased them from West Coast Batteries, they really gave me a deal since I bought four of them, even threw in a Odyssey hat and blanket.

That's what we're looking for. As long as it goes in the box where you can use the clamp and the strap and it doesn't hit the floor above it.

I will be interested in asking Techco after they install the motor if there was any problem with the battery after sitting for almost three months. I am betting the Odyssey will fire right up after being idle that long.

they probably pull them out when the cars go in the shop and they keep them in the trickle charger room until it's time to go back in.
