sounds like youre having fun Chris....If you can turn the TQ control off as erik advised do it....let the car cycle a few times and the lights may stay out...

i will give it a try..... although, i do not like the idea of the abs not being active..... i am going to try the 17 version and see if the shifts are harder and then go from there....... i finally figured out the laptop / pred issues i had (actually my wife solved it for me), so i can change from version to version easy!!!

The ABS may stay active even if the light comes on...As I had mentioned earlier the guy that bought my SRT8 liked the 17 version best...

My ABS works fine. But I have no lights on the dash.ESP may as well be non existant since I can now burn right through it.

Erik/Larry, what do I need to do to reduce the torque management? Is that the option to disable ESP?

Holy crap! Is this TM off function in 18? I have held on to 16a and loved it...didn't want to mess with a good thing. Car's off the road but if 18 is the latest, I must download that puppy.

Make Sure You Restore The Stock Tune To The Pcm before Updating The Predator Version!

Chris, I read over at LX forums the reason they are suggesting to add the 3% fuel is because the testing was done in Florida and something about the fuel there. Bottom line, the 3% adding fuel probably doesn't apply to you....probably won't hurt anything either.

On a side note...I added an additional 2% (total 5%) across the board tonight and the car is screeming like a banshee. Mike at Diablosport suggested adding 15% on the Diablosport forum. Does that seem a bit much to anyone?

I believe torque management (TQM) adjustments are only available with custom tuning software......unless it showed up on 18a (but I SERIOUSLY doubt it), I have not tested that version yet.

I went through this TQM discussion during the LONG discussion at LXforums when the Predator was in pre-release. Members were originally told the Predator would have torque management adjustments. Then when the Predator came out that option just disappeared but DIABLO still says we have it. IS TQ management part of the full ESP,BAS, ABS disable function?
I think Diablo held it back for more of a reason to use custom tuners. I believe the DCX custom tuning software has the ability to control TQM.

I think it would be great to have variable TQM......then some of the members could really trash the half shafts along with the engine damage done by the folks that thought turning of knock retard was the smart thing should do. At least Diablo took that away with release 18a.

Nathan, until I get CMR tuning done, with an 06 Charger which version would you run here in Cali, and do you think adding fuel is a good thing?

I am very happy with 17a, it solved my Autoshift/PaddleHold problems (but I did have to go to the dealer and get the TCM TSB to get Autoshift enabled) and I like the increased throttle response off the line ("Tip-In" increase according to Diablo). A lot of members did not like the "Tip-In" adjustment but I have no complaints...when I put the pedal down I expect rapid throttle response.
I haven't yet added any fuel but ALL the custom dyno tuning done by GSM and HOP involved adding fuel. So I don't see any harm in trying at least 2%-3% across the board on the 91 octane/CAI performance tune and I am running the higher shift points option.
It would be REAL COOL to be able to adjust shift points in AutoShift to where I want....this would be PERFECT for the strip and was something else Diablo said we would have during pre-release....but....

I will probably test 18a soon....just to see. I know 18a decreased the "Tip-In" value.
"Tip-In"....just some more crap that comes with "Throttle by Wire". Why can't the pedal just be directly connected to the throttle body.

I am soooo tempted to rip out this locked down computer crap (works like an old Atari... not a quad core 3ghz pc) go to a six speed, get a Fast throttle body controller and toss all these management modules. ABS would be the only thing I would like to keep....but I can live without that also.
Oh yeah... and shove a Dana with straight rear axles and a 4.10 gear under this beast.

Chris, as usual, your timing is impeccable! Looks like you should start looking into a wideband A/F and A-pillar pod mount. You do have a DashHawk don't you? I think what you need is either an Innovate or PLX DM-100 (I think this one is really neat looking). Then we need a dual pod that will accomodate the wideband gauge (no problem there) AND the DashHawk that has to be easily removable to take out of the car for downloading and configuring. As always, part #s and pics please :thumb2::rofl:
