Well, it took a lil over six weeks from the time i picked up the phone to order my parts from Stu till now. My budget combo is now done. And let me say thank you for everyone involved with this. Cam, Stu, Bob, Steve, Lonnie, Todd, Curtis, Frank, Paul and of course my eight year old son Christopher. My SRT is strong. And it feels like a high 11sec car. We'll just have to wait and see. I still have some non related issues i gotta work out. Got a leaking diff and need to upgrade my wheel studs and still waiting for my slicks. oh: In the mean time i will be data logging and working with Bob to get the most out of her. Here are some random pics i took on my way home. I just had to stop over @ Paulie's.
Nice! Congrats! Pics on the way home... Who's shop is way out in the desert on those dirt roads? and you got half shafts before you put those slicks on there right?
This car is Quick, I rarely talk about but Dynos. This 300 is an exception to the rules. Carlos!!! Giddy! Up!! As far as the ARP Wheel Studs, When you order them if they have a good set of steel lug nuts buy those too as the stock cast lug nuts won't last for long and most tracks when they see slicks want to see the bolts all the way through along with that (Bad Ass Drive Shaft Loop...:king
lol! Those shots were taken off the 15 fwy right off the 138. As for the half shafts, I have the GSM 1000 hp that are giving me head aches. Will do Lonnie thanks again. Good question. If my calculations are correct my out the door price came out to be just under $4000.00, Keep in mind that I had some extras done that are not absolutely necessary. The extras that I got where a wide band, under drive pulley, drive shaft loop, and ported throttle body. If it weren't for those I would have probably gotten it done for about $3000.00 out the door. Which is allot more affordable but I just had to go the extra mile.
Here are some pics of the a/f gage. Thanks Sarge! This is @ idle averaging both sides. @ idle each side individually. I went out this morning for some wot runs. The lowest read out i got was 12.5 and the average is 12.8 @ wot, I don't know shit about a/f ratios. Are these good?
Congrats Carlos, I'm glad Lonny was able to get you done so quickly. BTW, the AF is fine. For what he got, you'd better plan of $4500 just to be safe unless your gonna do it yourself.
Congratulations on the build! Believe me, I know...waiting is the hardest part. Let us know what that thing will do!
Thanks Cam, I wanted to stop by so you could test drive it but figured you would be to busy. Thanks Chris, when is the next private track rental? For sure ASAP. So you missed it? Here you go. http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14345
UPDATE! I made it out to a dyno day yesterday @ S.T.Motorsports and just wanted to share my dyno sheet with you guys. Keep in mind that I'm still running my start up tune from SVS and the weather was over 100 deg. With some help from my fellow Mopar boys, I was able to get some data logs and will be sending them to Bob ASAP!
