Welp guys, the shop is ready for surgery and I'm off to a BBQ. Time to drink someone elses beer and drown the kids. Ya, which lake?. We're big into boating, we'll have to hook up sometime. Powell is our favorite place to hit.
It sounds like I'm living in Bogata, Columbia circa 1992..... ...... I have more exploded ordinance on the top my house than the old Ministry Of Security Building in Bagdad. Gotta love the 4th of July!
Just got back from our daughter Tina's. Took us for a ride up to Cave Creek, found a really cool wine shop and had a DQ cone on the way back. Son-in-law Todd made us some great burgers for lunch. We not allowed out after dark now, so had to hurry home. Tina wanted to show off her new Hyundai Genisis. Really nice car.
well we just finished up our yearly 4th party at my house with my family .. I made some killer tri tip and chicken, didn't drown any of my bothers, sisters,nieces/nephews or their offspring in our pool.. so life must be good... will be looking at the a few fireworks shows form our back yard in a few hours.. i have been on vacation the previous week and did a HPD event last weekend with NASA.. sorry boys but took the BMW this time.. relaxing tomorrow as it is my special day and off back to work on Monday.. gotta decide if I am going to retire or not.. as I am tired of putting up with the BS at work.. too many dip shits with degrees, who formed their cliques and not enough experience.. or capability to actually do some real work..
Ron and I just got home from the track... Jim (Yearwood Performance) ran a great race his last run of the night in his corvette!!! 7.75 @ 177mph !!! The jet cars were back, and also had funny cars running! It was a fun day! I have a couple pics that I will share tomorrow!:happy:
Only 110 today, Saturday. We actually had a pretty good view of Chandler's fireworks from our driveway looking between 2 houses across the street. It was so fricken hot still. No air moving and it was still 108 at 9PM
At Steve's House yesterday: More pics of the gathering here: http://lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=173878 Marc, Madeline and I went home early so we missed the fireworks, but it was a fun few hours with friends.
