Is it the torque converter? Or the Transmission?

Sun Coast is also a very good choice....they have many diesels pushing well over 1000 hp.

And yes Ron...between us we could write a book.

Yeah. I hear ya Kyle, lol. I know you've been to hell, stayed the night with the Devil, and then hung out with his brother, and back!!!! :) I'm just venting is all. Ever since my motor swap, it just seems my car is consistently "down" for some little bullshit reason or another, about every few months. I just can't seem to keep it running right on a consistent basis, and it's fuckin frustrating as hell. Especially since by build is VERY simple in comparison.

Maybe you should start a counseling group that you could head up for LX Mopar customers?!!???!?!? :please: I'm sure we could all use some advice from one of the masters, lol. Have I mentioned it's good to have ya back???

So Dave, you don't think I can just check the fluid level with JUST the dipstick??? And thanks by the way, good find bro. I truly appreciate that!!!!!! :worthy::worthy:

I don't think so... That's a pretty big range in height on the dipstick on that chart?

I mean I've never checked the trans fluid but they make it sound pretty important in the manual and you got problems so now is maybe not the best time to be "ball parking" things.

I'm sure somebody here who's done it before is going to tell you in a minute...

True. I hear ya dude. :( Caught your post just in time before I ordered the dipstick. I'm gonna hold off. It may be best to just get the car to a dealership, and allow them to check fluid, temp, filter, etc.........

You CAN check the fluid level with just the stick.

It is not as hard as some people think. Once you get the 722.6 dipstick, give me a call.

WELL THAT MOTHER FING FIGURES! LOL

Getting a Trans temp gauge doesnt hurt either :)...

the temp sensor is located on the fluid "out" line so it gets the temp at what would be the "best" spot.

    DO IT CHASE DO IT!!

I hear ya bruta...vent all you like, most can relate and feel in your pain. Keep your eye on the prize, and once it IS complete and reliable...you'll be happy in the end. I've learned to just roll with it, expect to have "issues" and keep a level head and ask the experts for help. Most of the vendors the C has representing are top notch...SHR being one of them.

Hi, my name is Dookie, and i'm a kickmyselfinthenuts addict *all together* "Hi Dookie!"...LOL, and thanks dude...nice to be back in the saddle.

Chase, if you like, you are welcome to borrow my DashHawk...let me know, and I can set up the PID's you want to monitor...like Trans Temp...really no problem.

Just got back in town and sent this thread over to Jack at PI. Tell him to send you a two-clutch in the place of the 3-clutch. All of their problems have been associated with the 3-clutch converters. I will call them in a few as well.

Just a little FYI, most of the big hitters on the LXF are switching from Pro-Tq to PI including Ujokin and FlybyU. Ujokin put his converter in and ran his best time ever and it was 90 degree's outside. He went from 1.70 average to a 1.55 average 60ft. Flybyu's is getting installed today.

Feel bad for you man.......going through the same thing right now with the Jeep. Builder Bill sent me a whole new tranny free of charge for tranny and shipping. Feel bad for Bill because its still doing the same thing.

I know it doesnt apply to you but it appears my front couplers may be the culprits.

I hear ya Chris. Good luck to ya buddy. I've decided at this point to NOT do a supercharger for awhile. Once I get this fixed, I'm chillin the fuck out. I just want to get my car to 100% operational for awhile, and drive the piss out of her. I've kinda made the choice to stay N/A, tired of messin with shit, I just want to have a car to ENJOY, not watch sit in the garage all the damn time. We haven't had rain for a week, and I haven't been able to touch her......
Eddie will warranty whatever is wrong with his transmission. But in this case, it's not his trans. Sorry to hear of your troubles as well Sarge. Sounds like we're having mutual growing pains. Hope you're up and running strong, soon buddy!!!

Chase, sorry to hear about your problems man. I had a similar problem with a PI 3 clutch verter but all is well now. Jack and Terry are good guys and stand behind there product. I'm pretty sure they closed up shop for the 4rth, unfortunately.

Nah, they're in. Andy (PPP) spoke with them when he was out to lunch today. I hope they are as gracious to me as they were to you. But it's not looking so good right now.....

Everyone is removing their pro-tq's for the PI right now.

PI makes the best converter, but there are some exceptions to the rule. We have sold about 65 converters and had about 10 that needed to go back. Im calling Jack again right now.
