Call the guy 732-618-1678 make sure you call from base and it shows up with some type of military caller ID just as he picks up the phone give em a little sound of you loading your weapon-LOL

 

Why you guys so bent out of shape about it???

 

It's because they're selling a product for profit and using your hard work without your permission. It also de-values your work. Let's say that Freebird decided to sell images of his car to some company who wanted it to promote their product. It's not worth so much if it's already being used in that way by other companies.
I have no clue, but there could be problems if there are competitions excluding commercial or "backed" cars or something like that.
Then there's copyright issues. If you have a unique look, overall or specific parts or ideas and if you don't defend it you can lose the rights to those.
Then there's the thing that you might want to share your work with a couple of thousand people in your "community" but not with a couple of million of anybodys.

Then there is always the possibility that you hate the company for some reason and would rather kill yourself before doing anything to help them profit.

There's a whole lot of reasons to get bent out of shape over someone using your images without your permission.

 

Paul seriously you of all people should know why, yeah it would have been different if the guy would of gone out of his way and asked first and most likely these guys would of had no problem with it in fact it would of been a bit of an ego boost for some but to underhandedly STEAL someonelses photo to make a profit is criminal and unethical.

The E-bay seller is a vendor/distributor for Grip Tuning. Since my car is sponsored by Grip Tuning, Grip has the rights to my pictures to use in there print media, online and for distributors to use the images. My car is allowed to be on his E-bay site.

 

Guys if we post pics on the internet and the pics aren't copyrighted ANYBODY can use them

Hell i've seen my chrysler pic on people's main avatars on myspace

It's obviously my fault for not putting a big PAUL banner across it but i knew i took the risk by posting it on the internet

That's why i asked...because any pics we post are fair game for anybody viewing whether we like it or not or whether they asked or not.....

People aren't going to sign up on the forums to ask for a pic...they are gonna copy and save to disk.....

NOBODY took away my hard work in my Jeep by taking my pics cuz that's all they got....no videos...no new pics...no proof

BUT then again using it for profit.....well i can agree...must kinda suck
