I'm sort of a newbie over here on SRTconnection. I browse but rarely post. During my browsing, I stumbled across the Mondello heads. I've been trying to decide on which heads to purchase. I talked with a couple different vendors and decided to go with Steve and the Mondello heads. I talked with Steve last week and decided to pull the trigger. Steve took the time to answer all my questions and was very helpful. I ordered the heads last Thursday and they were on my front porch when I came home today. I know Steve said they would get shipped out right away, but I didn't imagine they here so quickly. I used to being told something is in the mail and getting it four months later. I'm very impressed with the craftmanship. It is definitely top notch. My plan is to put them on the stock block with the stock cam for right now. I'm building a forged 6.1 that will have a larger cam and a direct port nitrous system. I will get to see first hand how much heads only pick up my performance. I will spray the direct port nitrous on the stock bottom end and see exactly how much one of these stock blocks will take. I managed to get a picture of the head. It is a crappy cell phone picture and does not do these heads justice. Believe me, they are a work of art. http://s670.photobucket.com/albums/vv67/rbglamb/?action=view¤t=1245116262.jpg
Your setup is going to be great. Being one of the Devil's Advocates here, I pose this question. Aren't you afraid of doing damage to the new heads spraying enough to see how much the stock block will take?
Of course, I'm always concerned about breaking something besides just the block. I will inch my way up on the nitrous and see how it feels. I'll probably start with a 200 shot. I don't think I would go more than 250 if it holds up that long. I am curious to see exactly how much punishment it will take. I also understand I'm taking several risks in doing so.
sweeeeeeeeeet...i know tony is very very pleased with his new heads... im sure you will be a happy camper too!!
Seeing his car was one of my deciding factors in getting these heads, but don't expect any crazy ass videos of me driving with a video camera.
Welcome to the Stanko/Mondello family buddy, I love mine and are sure you will love yours too!! LMFAO that would be me!!!
i wish i knew they were on your front porch. blew another opportunity  congrats buddy.. i bet you were shocked seeing those there waiting. now take some decent pics!!
Thanks, and you're a crazy SOB! Tony, you always seem to blowing something. I was shocked to see them. I know it is hard to believe that when someone says that they will ship something the next day that they actually do it. I only have a camera phone right now. That is as good as the pics are getting. If you want a better view, you need to buy set.
There are different levels on these heads. I believe Steve has a price list stickied in his vendor section. It would best to PM to get his opinion on which head would work best for your set up. He's a great guy to talk to and will definitely lead you in the right direction.
if you think his videos are crazy...you should see what he does when hes NOT on camera! LOL you have no idea LOL OK that needed to be quoted....
Your just jealous cause i'm not blowing smoke up ur ass like others do. 3 little kids and no camera? what kinda Dad r u?
You're not getting anywhere near my ass no matter who much you beg. I don't want to buy another camera because that will cut into my mod money. Stevo, I love the new sig.
You better not check my bottle pressure again then.....I luved you all bent over. I'm glad there is more then one Tony on here
Yea, but you're the only one doing any blowing. Stage 3 wet flow. I plan on using a lot of nitrous so I needed the top of the line. Thanks, Chris.
I have installed a lot of new gen Hemi Heads over the past couple years....... The first time I laid eyes on the Stanko/Mondello heads I knew they were going to perform. The third set I installed was on Steve's 300, we did a head only swap and I was very impressed. Good Luck on the rest of you build and the N20........
