Yup, I am tired of being 3 pay checks behind and thousands in expense money owed to me. In short, I am a Retail Manager (as high as District level) and a Tech Support within the Computer/Car Wash industry. Also, I have Project Management within the Construction Industry. Open to relocation anywhere in the USA or Europe... lol Anyone hears of something, please forward me the info. Thanks.
Wanna babysit? J/k! Good luck with the job hunt. I'd help out but everyone I know is working long hours or looking for work or like Marc, taking voluntary furlough...
You and me both Ron! If i was rolling hard still Id bring you all down here and we kill it with the best Hemi Shop in the country!! Oh and a heads up dude! If Cam wins the lotto, Dont be getting no high hopes! Im the fucking cabana boy!!..............................................:harhar:
if Cam hits the lottery, I'm gonna be the first official janitor at Crank This so I can get the insider knowledge of the IPO
I know how you feel Ron...my billing is actually up this year but due to the economy clients are dragging their feet to pay...my accounts receivable is 3 times what it should be......problem is my client's customers are slow paying....it's the trickle down effect........makes me want to do something else..:dumb:
I've been in retail now for 28 years and I've learned a few things over the years. 1) Make as much as you can as quickly as you can and hopefully retire with some of your health, sanity and wealth in tact. 2) Everyone, everywhere has stress. The guy making $10 hr and the guy making $100 an hour. The only way to reduce stress is to make $100 hr and live like you make $10 hr. 3) Being able to tell someone to fu*k off, mean it, get away with it and still call that person a friend, co-worker or even a boss is it's own stress relief. 4) Knowing at the end of the day that you are who you think you are and not what some arbitrary report, bullshit evaluation or some superior 1,000 miles away thinks you are is priceless. Don't forget it. 5) Nothing is forever and one day I will leave this place. This place being my work, my home or my life. The only thing I'll be taking with me is my integrity, so don't try to fu*k with it! MY MANTRA Everyday I wake with a vision of what I was put on earth to do. I envision the people I will meet, engage, motivate and hopefully in some small way inspire to be more and do more than they ever thought they could. At the end of the day I'll look in the mirror. I want to like what I see.
^^^^^Excellent advice. That's exactly why I left my last job without any prospects. The changes they were making were entirely against my ethics. The funny thing that happened was that I after I quit, so did about 20% of the staff. I practically burned the place down on my out with a nice letter to the editor that was published too. I hate people that think they screw others and hide behind "policy" without being called on it. Ron, find what makes you happy and the job that will let you do it. I love to solve problems and fix things. My 2 jobs...working on cars and physical therapy. I'm happy pretty much any day at work. I'm either fixing cars or people. Now if only I could make more money at my second job...right Ralph.
haha That's the problem Adam, I DO love what I do, just hit a financial bottom with my company owing me tens of thousands of dollars... lol
Oh...(in my best Rosanna Rosanna-Danna voice) Nevermind. Sounds like its lawyer time so that they know you're serious.
I hear CAM does on the sight collections on the side maybe you should hire him to collect-LOL Ron this sucks man I totally understand money being owed to you especially when you know they have it I too have thousands of dollars out there that lenders owe me for my Appraisal work and wrote off nearly $10,000 last year but I now have them pay up front and give them a discount for doing so. The bar on the other hand is killing me, already paying the lease and still not open but close.
Ron! lets open up a CAR WASH! LOL!! Dude I so want to get out of this rat race. I don't know whats gonna happen but I think getting cut is gonna be the best thing for me. Can't wait to go on my unemployment vacation!!! hahah!!!!
hit up wade for a bartending job ron...... just think..... you behind the bar and maureen working the crowds......... although, she will likely bring in more money in tips!! dahahahahahaha i will look around here and see what i can find. i would tell you to get into my field, but intro level pays dirt!!! lol
