Let me introduce Hunter......... some of you may remember me having to put down my rotty mix Basil, back at halloween..... very tough for me. well, my family was ready to adopt another pup and here he is!!! Hunter is an American Pit Bull mix. he is about 4 mos old. we saved him from the pound after the mothers owners pit had pups and gave them all to the pound. i love the brindled coloring he has. i think he has some lab in him becasue he seems to have that happy go lucky attitude without any pit agressiveness. anyway, here are a couple of shots i thought i would share!!!
thanks guys!!! yeah, the vet guessed from his age, and feet, he may be around 75 lbs....... we will see. will still be smaller than the 90lbs pure bred pit that lives behind me!!!! that dog looks mean as hell, but is as loveable as any dog i have met!!!!
And Hunter is really a GREAT dog. Very playful, good with the kids, and most of all Hunter does not bark. lol
and he sure loved your leg for some reason ron????? hmmmmm hahahahahahahahaaa what is it with you...... my kids loved you, my dogs were liking you........ what is your secret????? heheheheh
Chris, Hunter looks gorgeous bro! (long time no talk by the way) And I think the fact that you saved him from the pound is amazing. I'm a biiiig believer in that. There is great nobility in rescuing a dog like that, I commend you brother. Spoil him rotten with love and affection, that is the way pets are intended to be treated! And yes, his color is unique, very handsome pup! Chase
Congrats on the new addition! All 3 of our remaining Lab pups as well as some of the wifey's Parrotlets are going to new homes this afternoon for Xmas. Can you say mod money?
chase!!!! what up brudda!!!!! yeah, hunter is a great pup!!! my neighbors have been a bit aprehensive because of the fact he is a pit, but his disposition is awesome!!!! what is a parrotlet????? hahahahahaha
Mini parrots I guess. They are teeny, tiny compared to some of the bigger birds we have. It's the wifes domain. I don't know much about them. Here's some pics. She has 9 various mated pairs.
Chris, I'm glad to hear you got a pup... and a great lookin' pup at that! That one has some LOOOONG legs... wow. Congrats.
Congrats Chris, he reminds me of a Red Nose Pit I had back in 1980. My pit got up to 100lbs. Good Luck.
thanks jason..... actually in that pic, he was stretching out.... i just woke him up!!! hahaha thanks! oh man ken, i hope he does not get that big!!! hahahahaha he wants to be in my lap all the time now, i can only imagine him at 100lbs!!! hahaha
