Last week we had plans to attend a Mopar Meet/Car Show in Gatlinburg, TN that we were sponsoring. However, since we were already half way there we decided to also visit some family in IL, which also enabled us to pick up one of Lisa's family heirlooms a 1949 Dodge Coronet. While this was all great we didn't want to drive both my car and the Excursion all the way to IL, but wanted to have both there for the car show event. So our dilemma was finding a safe place to store SRT8U for a few days. That is whee Larry comes in! I knew Larry lived a short distance from Gatlinburg, so I asked him if he knew somewhere I could store my car, a shop, or a storage facility we could rent etc. I was stunned when he offered his house to keep my car...not just his house, but he offered his garage! I just wanted to extend my gratitude to Larry and his wife for enabling us to do this and taking such good care of our baby while it was there. Thanks again Larry, and it was great finally meeting you!
You are more than welcome Kris....My wife and I both enjoyed meeting you and Lisa.....the car was no trouble...very well mannered and never asked for anything................wish we could have had more time to visit but I was glad I got to the hospital when I did...my mother had a very rough night and we thought her time had come.....thank God she began to come around the next day and came home today......
That is great to hear your Mom is doing better Larry, I also hope your neighbors are doing ok after the storm!
Thanks Kris..........The guy next door had chainsaws running for 2 days before he cleared his driveway.....still has tarps spread over the gaps in his roof....I was very lucky as you saw..
Thank you SO much, Larry!! Like Kris said, we are very grateful for your help and it was nice to meet you and your wife. Glad to hear your mom made a turnaround, and is doing well. Hope your neighbor's house is repaired soon, and glad they are okay and that your house wasn't harmed. We'll have to get together again and have more time to visit.
Sucka's. Now I understand why Larry has been missing his Charger... lol Had Kris's badass whip to spin around for a couple days. bwahahahahaha Cudo's Larry, I always knew you are a great person, even with only one tooth. lol:tooth: :harhar:
Not surprised. It's easy for good people to help out fellow good people. **singing** "Kris and Larry sittin in a tree....K-I-SS-I-N-G"
That Black Charger sitting in the garage did bring back memories..:cry2: This thread is beginning to turn South....Lisa was with Kris the whole time he was at my house..fftopic::grin:
I was gonna ask if you checked your odometer before you left Kris. Larry is always a gentleman on the forum .. kudos to you Larry!!
OMG yes it is!!! I tried to trade SRT8U (the car, not Kris) for the truck, but no go. That thing is sooooooooooo sweet, I love it!
