Received this email today. Have seen some rumers floating around that the SRTTE was being washed..not true at this point.. We sent the below email to the attendees of the Homestead event. As of this time we are not postponing any other events. Dear SRT Track Experience Participant: As you are probably aware, Chrysler Corporation has recently filed for bankruptcy and is in the process of restructuring their organization. As a result, the Homestead event is being postponed. It is not clear at this time if the event can be rescheduled at a later date, however; there is an event in Daytona later in the year (September 17-September 20) that is available if you are interested. Anyone who has paid to attend this event (either as a driving guest or non-driving guest) will have their credit card refunded within the next 5 business days. If you are attending the event because you purchased a new SRT vehicle and this experience was included in the cost of your car, you will be free to reschedule for an upcoming event. If you are interested in rescheduling, simply email us with your registration number and identify which future event you would like to attend. It is important to note that at this time, no other events are being postponed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Chrysler is working diligently to resolve the issues surrounding this. Thank you for your loyalty to Chrysler and for your understanding during this reorganization. Looks like the track experience is not being pushed out...got another email today from them and they have added more locations... Good News! Due to popular demand, we have added a few more dates to our 2009 SRT Track Experience schedule. These dates might not yet appear on the map/calendar/schedule but once you begin the registration process online, they will appear on the registration from and you may select one as your preferred date. This is a "sore subject" for me anyhow as I bought a dealer demo with 1700 miles and they WOULD NOT Honor my SRT Track Experience, without me paying the $500! I did, however, contact them several times with my displeasure.... didn't do any good, but made me feel better!!!!! Shucks!
Then someone used your ticket....I went twice...once on the SRT8 I bought new and later on my present truck which I bought used with 2300 miles...
That sux... I got a free one 'cause I took a driving guest with me last year, and he bought an SRT within 90 days of the event! We're headin' back to VIR in July!
