So Im thinking about blacking out the srt, already have the blackout taillights, thought about powder coating the stockers black and maybe debadging it, (not the srt badges, just the chrysler badges and maybe some of the chrome moldings. So whatcha think

Also anyone have a pic or url of a 300c srt8 with stock black wheels?

I'm a fan of NO BADGES whatsoever. I went thru this phase on both my SRTs of leaving just the SRT badges on as well. But just putting them in different places. Then on my Charger I popped them off and painted them flat black & put them back on. Now, both my rides are naked, no badges at all. I looooove the clean look of it. Not telling you to do it, but just giving my opinion.

And I say if you powdercoat the wheels black, leave the SRT engraving silver, to kinda "pop" with the silver calipers a bit. But I love your idea!!!

umm you might want to watch Enemy .. I have heard on black cars that are a couple years old you will see a mark where the trim/badges previously were .. I guess from paint fade or whatever .. I'm just sayin

I have an 06 and I keep my badges on .. it accents the car IMO

Yeah, I figured that. I also googled 300c srt8 black wheels and saw a few pics, not sure if I like it now. Might look better in person tho

Depends on how it's lived those couple of years. I took molding and badges off my car after 1.5 years and there was no paint fade at all. The car has never been garaged but has had frequent applications of Zaino (which blocks UV).

Joe, if you do the badge removal and have the fade lines, Chris over at Loid's Rides can take care of that.

I'm more of the contrast school. Every time I think about going the all black route, I take the car for a "spa" day and realize she looks pretty hot as is. Granted I miss my painted/tinted tails, but I have a "friendly" neighborhood bike cop who doesn't like them, so I'm stuck with stock. I suggest attempting to go to local meets or cruising some photo threads and just window shopping first. And yes, there's stuff to consider like fade and how much you drive the car or if you garage it or not. Also, whether you have local cops with hard-ons for modified cars. Just saying.

yeah "hate lightning" is blacked out and is basically badge free....its molding and everything free with just SRT8 badges

I think it would look cool if you could paint them black with silver "SRT" or something...

I dont like NO badges at all...but thats just my thing....

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go

enemy .. I'm 95% sure that IF you remove the large Chrysler emblem on the trunk .. there IS a hole behind there you will have to fill .. I could be wrong .. talk to scott at BT .. they make replacement wings for the trunk .. he will tell you if there is a hole fo sho
