I guess I just attract these guys. Pulled up to a stop light as he was sitting there. I stopped a little past him.. wasn't thinking about racing him at all, well.. maybe a tad but neither made any indications we were going to run. Light turned and I heard his exhaust hit, so I hammered down. Put a car on him through I am guessing 1st and second. (that's a guess) he pulled almost even somewhere in what I guess was third...maybe not EVEN but gained for sure. Gained enough I started to worry but never pulled off the gas. Just as I had really started to worry, I started walking away. Put a car on him and then had to shut her down. He flew buy as I was breaking.. but he already knew it was too late. He was easily far enough behind to see me get hard on the brakes. anyway.. just sharing Judd

I haven't had anyone try to race me in Cindy's Mustang. It's pretty quick. I think I could stay with most until 3rd, and then it would be over for me. lol
My 05 GT wouldve smoked my blown srt8... Of course my srt8 has a blown engine, if that matters?!?! Lmao!
This makes me wonder... would I have been in trouble if it would have been a cobra? I don't meant he brand new ones... Also makes me wonder how nice are the GTO's that are just about like our cars with less weight?? Seems to me that they SHOULD be bad fast.
First of all, that GT was not stock if it were keeping up with you in 1 -3. An 03/04 Terminator (if bone stock) should be about even. The GTO 5.7 is no match and the 6.0 is a tad slower, but is typically a drivers race.
That really surprises me!! I really figured the 6.0 GTO would be faster, because of weight. hmmm... oh well Good to know. No wonder the GT Mustang guy didn't want to talk.. he had a sports car that was moded and still got beat by a 4 door family car. lol
The GTO only has 400HP and less torque but less weight at only 3700 lbs. (ouch...700 lbs lighter). Oh and 0.1L less for the goat.....lmao Very much a drivers race with the chaser being the SRT8. Now throw a Chally SRT8 (closer to same size as GTO) in there and we are closer.
Be careful with the Terminator Cobras (03'-04'). With just a quick pully change and a tune they can become monsters. My 04' Cobra put down 403 rwhp when all it had was a cat back exhaust. I added a pulley and it put down 465 rwhp. Plus, its getting harder and harder to find any "stock" Terminators these days.
I love beatin' on Mustangs, but I agree....you've got to be careful with the Terminators. If you come across a stock one or one with no pully change you've got a chance. There's not many of those left!
LOL, its the torque, just saying... I like being a chick in a Charger... confuses the mustang guys or something...

I still have not raced anyone in the srt. Now my lightning gets challenged by every car you can think of, especially ricers..... BTW street racing is illegal :grin:
