That was even worse... it was a friggin Jeep!

Even though there were only about 16 LXs (and 2 friggin Jeeps) doing the elimination they gave us our own class. One Jeep was a SRT8 -- I think he dialed at 13.6

Haha, that was a rush catching him. He left about 5 minutes before I did and was half way down the track already. I think I got him by about a car. They broadcast the tower on 87.9 FM so while I'm going "YESSSS!" I hear this "ooooh, heart breaker... .002"

Yea, I know. Things were going so well and ... it was .002 so I went for the $10 "first round losers" jackpot. anybody that lost in the first elimination from ANY class could get in the $10 jackpot. only the second time I spun the tires (first launch and last launch out of 7 runs) and that guy dialed 11.59, just kind of gradually gained on me, blew by me at the end and let off when he had a 1/2 car on me. I think he had all that stuff...

not that one. here's the time slip from the loser's jackpot run. I spun the tires and the professional racer took me out by waiting till the very end, getting a fender and lifting. (notice that I changed my dial from 13.27 to 13.25... lot of good that did, lol, I had everything worked out perfectly in my mind haha)

heh... I put $10 into a sanctioned event that had a cash pay out to try and win it. I'm thinking that makes ME a Professional Racer . I didn't have any other job last year. I'll try writing off my car and everything I've spent on mods. I'll let you know how that goes next year.
