Yes the 9s are here,Congrats Hemi C! http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?p=2274799&posted=1#post2274799
kinda what i would think...... i guess that is why i really appreciate hemi~c's results that much more....... car is still a daily driver!!! lol
These cars as we know them will not hit 8's. It'll take a total and complete rethinking of each and every part from the motor back and a whole new control system. Damn the bad luck.
Thanks for posting it up Scott. I would have to agree with Cam here as it is going to take a whole hell of a lot of work to get our 2 ton pigs moving in the 8's. Even if you make the power (1100+ rwhp) I just can't see the current rear/tranny/chassis being up for it. My hats off to anyone willing to try though as this car will likely not see more power going into it......I am coming in around the 800-850rwhp mark with the spray and I can just feel how this car is on the edge power/chassis/drivetrain wise.
Ahhh We used to say the same crap about the 9s and 10s..lool Seriously,I agree.Totally different ball game now For those that dont know what it takes.Just look at Jmatts ride. Congrats again Chris. You are the man
I think it wil take a straight rear axle to handle the power required for the 8's. Along with NO remaining stock interior, just a pan. and 1 light weight seat and a lot of roll cage. And as Dave said.... a desktop size 12V fan for AC.
8's.....man talk about setting the bar Can't we now start coming down in 0.5 second increments...... A lot of pressue even to try and better Hemi~C top effort.
