My uncle called me today to ask for a ride...a ride to the dealership...a ride to the dealership to pickup the 2SS Camaro he had ordered two years in advance. i quickly agreed and a couple hours later... i got the first ride, and let me say, this thing hauls ass...serious ass. it handles like a dream, and is super comfortable to ride in. the fit and finish of the car are amazing. i am still in awe. here is a little bonus for you all. haha 51miles on the odo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WFl82AIMTU
I think they are pretty close in all the various comparisons I STILL HAVE YET TO SEE ONE IN PERSON! i drove by a cheby dealership and saw one the other day but thats it...a meet im going to next month should have one or two! so im looking forward to seeing it up close and personal!
Is it me or was it peg legging on the burnouts? I seen a yellow one yesterday Transformer Bumble Bee exact HOT car exterior but I cant get past the horrible interior, those gauges look like they belong in a mini van, typical GM gets the outside right and cut corners on the interior hmmm sounds familiar.
Congrats to your Uncle. Maureen and I saw an RS in the same color a couple weeks ago, and I must say that color is really brings out the body lines.
They look pretty good, but I agree with Tony on the interior though. The main instrument cluster just doesn't look good IMO. I know they're were trying to make it look like the 1969 Camaro( I used to own one), but it doesn't look right in a new car.
haha exhaust is the first thing that is on its way. this car was ordered as a 2SS with the RS Appearance package but the RS package hasnt come in yet. Strangely i like the gauges, not more than the Chally gauges but 10x more than the mustang setup
Nope. A buddy of mine with a pretty much stock SRT8 ran an SS in LA and beat him. Not by a mile, but still beat him.
the first thing we did when we left the dealership was run it against my car...it would definately walk a srt8 up here. haha i also forgot to apologize for the camera phone pics...but they dont look too bad
Camaros......All hype...... They will litter the streets with the v6 engine with 22's and sound systems just like the chargers and 300's Not with the Jeep's though! I'm ready to eat up some Maros!!!
