I love my Flow's.... I am thinking about getting the SLP Loudmouth 2's just to see what they sound like though lol... Mine is pretty loud though, ill get new video when I get my Kooks on...in about 2 weeks.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26U7Q-FAjdY
My first mod was a CAI, but my car already had high-flow cats and cat-back on it when I bought it. If I bought a bone stock car today...it would definitely be a Diablo predator and 180tstat combo. Best bang for the buck. Nothin' like being able to bark 2nd gear!
First mod? DEERAM billet shift knob. and sound... they all sound good but they do sound different from one to another.
if your gonna start with baby steps and not bite on the forged stroker/blower/nitrous setup right away then this is your best bet hahahahahaha a 180* t stat regulates the amount of coolant that goes through your system cooling your car... ours will normally run at around 212*...obviously the 180* runs at...180ish... less heat = more horsepower.... You can get them for like $10 or something at a local autoparts store....or a vendor here probably has them for pretty cheap too I have the JET Tstat.... the part# is JET10183
180* coolant thermostat. Stock the car is set to run around 200*. At the same time it starts pulling timing/power at about that temp so you get more performance keeping it around 190* or under.
when dave says something...listen to him! hahahaha thats a good start...you will be pleased haha then work on that exhaust...then move on to the big stuff
you all sound like smart ppl and im sure every1 knows whats gonna pull out the best performance lol so i will be the yung grasshopper
hahahaha we just made the mistakes already! so we know what NOT to do Dave is the walking manual....so when he says it its probably true lol
It was touch and go for a couple of years but we've pretty much got the SRT8s sorted out now. Here's what happened to me: (these knick-knacks will get you comfortable and then you can start planning serious mods LOL) Billet Shift Knob Gorilla Wheel locks (20 piece acorn) Race Pedals Leather Console and Arm Rests Mirror Mount for Radar Detector Brake Pads (dust less) Interior LEDs DashHawk DC Strut Bar Mopar CAI PCV Oil Catch Can (McKinney) Locking Gas Cap Mopar/Corsa Cat Back Hotchkis Sways Clifford Alarm SRT8 Badges & De-mold Billet nose badge Glove Box Light 180* T-stat aFe Stage 2 CAI Predator Tuner Wideband AFR Gauge (PLX) DashDAQ
Damn....I forgot all about the glove box light! Yes....that's a must have in my book. That was about the 2nd mod I did!LOL
He's got my vote! I'm a brown noser too... You said the bunnies run (actually you said "haul ass" which was a very appropriate choice of words) when the garage opens or they see you. I didn't make ANY comments on why. It's not that a few didn't come to mind. -- they talked to one of the chickens that survived. -- pretty much anything with a teeny tiny ass hauls it when they see you. -- (there were more) and WHERE'S THE VIDS on your recently modded ride?
