Extremely unlikely. If it did, you'd have major issues going on when you actually applied the brakes at any speed.

I bought Bendix brakes from Amazon. The price was great. The brakes work great. But they squeak at low speeds.

i just bought satisfied pro ceramics today, i have heard good things about them, i will let you know. BMC performance has good prices on a variety of pads.

This all depends upon what kind of driving you do.. I have had the stockers, , Ceramics, EBC Reds and most recently Hawk HPS pads.

With this said I drive road courses -

Stockers - lots of dust, low noise, stop good but do not last too long.. 2 or 3 track days

Ceramics - low dust do not stop as well as stockers, but very low dust and low noise.. to me a good street daily drive pad.. but not for moderate driving to hard track use.. they give up pretty easily at track speeds after 10 -15 mins. 1/2 track day.. they were taken off..

EBC - Lot of noise when they are first new, low dust, not real good when cold (to be expected), stop real decent when driven hard, but more pedal pressure is required for daily street use.. sometimes a little discomforting. May be hard on rotors.. 4-5 track days

Hawk HPS - Good when cold, more dust than ceramics or EBCs, good daily driver pedal pressure and initial bite.. quiet after intial break in, too me a little more responsive and predicatable than the EBCs when you first go to the break pedal. Do not have any track days on these yet .. only had them on little over a week with 2) trips (500 miles total)

Unless the HPS really suck on the track these are what I will be staying with for the Magnum..

I purchased Bendix for the front and rear because I too needed pads quickly, and the do squeak at low speeds. Seems like the do not sqeak as often if the braking is hard - even at low speeds.

I have of a new set of EBC Redstuff for front and rear for sell if you're interested  Pm me for more info.

I recently installed a set of Satisfied Motorsport G6 pads front and rear. I just logged in about 1500 miles since then and love the stopping power and low dust on the wheels.

I like the factory pads for street & track days they work well, but, I am not going to pay dealer prices to replace them. I need a pad that will work for everyday use and weekend track day so Ceramics are a waste of time and money for me. Dust is not the issue for me, it's braking performance.

The Hawk's and PFC's have a higher tip- in (bite) makes the car want to dive when conering and seem to be aggressive on the rotors (past experences) the EBC Green are fine for the street, Red is need for weekend use.

I've work with Warren at The Brake Man (street & track pads) for years on alot of Viper Club track days & his pads work well. I am going to try his new #93 compound these are suppose to be street/track pad. These are a cross between his #2 street pad and 33 track pad. They are suppose to be very linear and makes the car want to squwat when they come on. I am looking forward to trying these at next months track day.

    UPDATE:

I have 3 track days on the HPS pads.... for a dual purpose pad I like them over everything else I have tried to date, including the EBC reds.

Unless you are planning to strictly use your car as a track car these pads will do you well... I will not go off topic on this point..

The HPS do dust on the track.. which is a good thing to me.. cause it means you are stopping.. and I encountered very little fade after 120 miles of road course use in two days on my last event (160 minutes of track time at speed over two days, 4) 20 min sessions).. and then drove 2 hours home in LA traffic without any negative side effects..

    Just my $0.02...

It's all about the driver, most pads from any outlet will work well for the daily driver,

    BUT,

Car Show Guy - No Brake Dust - Cermanic Pads
    (disadvatage) longer stopping time

Performance Guy - BRAKE DUST (So What/Who Cares) - We have CHOOSES - (advantage) WE STOP when we want to

    I liked the orignal '06 SRT8 Pads(but not for $400. a pop when I want/need brake pads)
and not as much know that I know they have be changed twice to a softer compound.

I like The Brake Man Pads - Good Price, any time I want them. Good Pad, Work as WELL, if, not BETTER as the ('06) Factory Pad on the Performance Side.

They have a good idea that works & they (Warren) has been doing Brakes for 40 years.

I have heard good reports on Performance Friction pads. I believe Kragen carries them. Personally, I went with Posi Quiet pads & slotted rotors from Dave Zeckhausen.
