I went out yesterday for the first time since Easter. I had to head over to the dentist for my check-up, and I'm paranoid about swine flu to give you some idea of where my head is at.

I get into the car, haven't even started yet. Some idiot in a wrx decides to give me a heart attack by gunning it as he cruises by. Lovely.

Then not five minutes later, at a light I encounter a white suburban/escalade, windows down, blasting DMX with a bunch of skinny tanned bleach blonde teenage boys leaning out the window gesturing at me. WTF???

I'm chalking it up to warm spring weather and school closures. That and I'm not leaving the house again any time soon.

 

Yeah, its spring time. Yolanda gets the same treatment in hers. She was in line at magic mountain back in april and this kid slams open the minivan door and runs up to her just to tell her she's got a nice car. pfftt!! what am I? just a station wagon???

Yes yes...I'm one of "those bitches" who got skinny post-baby. So its worse/better than before. Still, I haven't been out in a while so its weirdness all over again.
