I know its weird huh, but remember mine went on me when I was bone stock at 10k miles so you never know.
Damn I forgot about that.Back then you didnt have crap for mods either.. Yeah Im really curious to what happened to his.Yours was the TC right?
Yeah. This all fuggin sucks. Just totally confusing. This car is teaching more and more things about it, every time I mod it!!! Shit, lol. But I would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of help. I don't have to go through this alone. And for that, I am eternally grateful. You guys are like family. I just want you all to know how much I truly appreciate the help. And to think I was gonna sell this car......huh. Somebody chop my nuts off the next time I start talkin that shit!!!! I wouldn't leave this LX community for the world now. Thanks again.
no worries chase my friend!!! oh yeah, the next time i hear you talking about selling the car........ well, lets put it this way..... i have a really big pair of scissors!!! oh: lol
Yup. Sho did. Thanks for the quick response bro, I truly appreciate it!!! Just waiting to figure a few things out......
No worries Ron. The PM was about a supporting vendor.........it's cool. No. He's not. I wish he would though, lol!!!!!
Right now as it stands, I'm pursuing one last option..... Jesse Greening, the owner of Greening Auto Co. (where I got my wheels and brakes, and engine bay done) referred me to the guy that builds all their transmissions for their high-end hotrods. We're talking about a guy who does trannys for $250,000 custom hotrods, and has been building transmissions for over 15 years, so I think I'm safe He's looking into parts right now, I explained to him I need a trans that can handle up to 1000rwtq, for my future goals. If he can get the job done for under $2500, I'll be going that route. However, if he cannot meet the "build goals" or the price goal, I'll be going with Eddie from Southern HotRod, the guy took a friggin phone call from me at 9:30pm on a Sunday night!!!! THANKS A SHITLOAD EDDIE!!!! And Eddie seems to be one of the nicest guys on the planet in my two dealings with him. Call my crazy, but that means a lot to me, when a vendor can treat you with genuine respect, and not make you feel "beneath" him. The only reason I'm not pulling the trigger on a SHR tranny right now, is I'm trying to save a little money (unexpected expense) without compromising quality, and I feel like I have a shot at that with Greening Auto Co. I would like to thank Lisa at BMC as well, for offering up her transmission, but I simply cannot afford that price tag!!! But thank you BMC for the genuine offer!!!
Eddie @ SHR is a really nice guy! He started in a 2 car garage only a couple years ago, now hes got a nice shop doing insane builds .. Good luck with your tranny Chase!
Chase glad ur going to go with eddie he is a great guy and is always there to answer questions. Ur in good hands

Yep +1,000,000 Eddie is the fuckin MAN!!! I will have his tranny in my Jeep by the end of this month!!! :mains::mains::mains:
Not to highjack this thread or go out of bounds or anything but what's the difference between the two trannies, SHR & BB units? Anyone know?
no..... i have a really good pair of clipper for that smart azz!! lol  swoop right on in mr. vulture!!! :shifty: good luck chase, i hope you can work something out with your local guy. if you do, please keep all of our inquiring minds in the loop!!! lots of people going to need some tranny work in the future as people keep going faster and faster. if things do not work out, shr and bb are good folks!!!
