Check it out guys: The first 10 or so images are HDR and a few others mixed in. The rest are "normal." http://rwalshphoto.com/Botanical/
WOW absolutely stunning my favorite is the one with the boat filled with, well not sure what they are, but I like it.
Thanks! I liked the boat exhibit too. Its all blown glass inspired by the plants and stuff around it. Some are more abstract than others thats for sure.
can you give me an idea of your gear? Some pics I can see the HDR and others I see very little influence by HDR, did you use HDR on all pictures? The colors in all the pictures are VERY VERY VERY rich (Mains likey) I know you had to fight with shadows as I can see from a few of your pictures. Other than that all I have to say is job well done.
I just reread the OP sorry not all are HDR... my bad. But I am interested in the setup you used. Seems like you did alot of short glass in this album
If you read his homepage you would know-LOL http://www.rwalshphoto.com/aboutRyan.html Canon5D with a 24-105 F/4L image stabilizer lens
Thanks guys! Yeah I use a Canon 5D with 24-105 F4L IS. I used a 50mm compact macro for a good number of these too. I like shooting macro stuff wide because it exaggerates angles and depth of field. The first 10 or so images are HDR and consist of about 4-6 exposures each that deviate about +/- 3 stops from "top dead center" lol. The rest have slight corrections in the curves and corrected luminance/hue/saturation.
