So what are your guys thoughts on Billet main caps??? and Why??? Maybe around 700 awhp??? I know I have talk to a few of you about this, but just would like to see what you guys think.
If you're going to build a custom, forged motor. Why skimp? If a rod lets go because of a main failure, wouldn't you kick yourself in the arse for not getting them up front?
It's a waste on these motors IMO. The cap is a stout piece and if it were to fail, it'll be the bolts or the casting that does.
N0 Charge I agree........besides the motor in question is coming with Pro-Gram billet main caps at "NO CHARGE"! .

How much boost do you plan on running? 20lbs? do your self a favor Erick get the main caps.... I know you'll try some crazy boost.:worthy:
Why, first off these motors are not tuneable at those elevated boost levels right now let alone all the other issues that come into play after 15psi. And second, please explain what it will do for him. Our stock units are beyond stout and you'll see block and or bolt distortion long before we see main cap distortion.
