Being that my SRT is nearing the end of the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty, i wanna take the plunge. One prob though, i know nothing about heads & cam. All i know is that i would love to consistently be able to run 11.5 - 11.8 1/4 mile times. My best so far is 12.49 @ 113.7 in California Speedway. The only vendors that i have been looking into is Inertia, PPP, and HHP. I'm looking for the most affordable and proven set up. If anyone could help me decide on a solid set up, please feel free to help out. Also, throw some numbers out. H/P, T/Q, parts cost, and install costs. I wanna get all the parts from the same vendor. If you want to get to 11.5, don't be thinking budget.Spend a little more to get proven results and you'll save money in the long run. I went w/ ppp stage II heads and a agressive cam and ended up with a monster. I haven't tracked it yet(Sunday weather permitting) but it's a DD w/ excellent street mannerism, until you smash the throttle. Then all hell breaks loose!!
Im going to agree with Jim,PPP has some strong running cars out there.Give Andy a shout and talk it over with him.Cam a member here can do the install for you.
I have a set of Mondello Gen1 on my shelf. I will let them go for $1,600 exchange. Sorry.......to the other guys.... but these heads will dust them. There wont be any trying to get to 11.8-11.5!!!! They are not the "wet flow".......you wouldnt want those........unless you want to go faster than 11.5?? or try to spank a Jeep or two...... lol! .

sure, I can buy the heads/cam from them and have them installed ... but, I was looking to buy from Inertia or PPP because of their posted gains and give the install to Erik ... I'd like to support a supporting vendor PPP and member Hemi31

Honestly 11.5's out of a head/cam package is going to be hard as hell to achieve.There are only two 6.1's I know of that are there or close,and they have major time and work invested as well as funds.High 11's are difficult enough for a cam/head car.There are alot of supporting pieces needed to get there...axles,headers,intake,tune(tune is huge),tires, etc...and you better be committed to going over every last detail......good luck in whatever vendor you choose....they all offer parts that will get you close.....but your going to have to do the rest.
