Decided to hit the track at Little River Academy, TX last night with a crew from LS1truck.com it was cool and windy last night but overall not a bad night to run. First pass I totally forgot to turn the TC off, spun and watched as the little yellow jeep flash on the dash and knew then my run was screwed but oh well I stayed in it and only ran a 12.700 @106.18 with a 8.13 1/8 @ 84.75 mph, 60' was sad at 1.84. Let the jeep sit for about an hour and made my final pass of the night as it was getting too cold and alot of people were complaining about the track prep not once did I or anyone see them lay down any VHT heck even with the new VREDS I was spinning off the line, anyway 2nd pass was a little better ran a 12.64 @106.6 with the 1/8 @ 8.03 at 84 mph and a 1.81 60ft. Two things I will change next time out, forgot to up the air pressure in the fronts and it seems like my 3rd gear is falling a bit flat so I need to datalog some runs out on the street and see whats up my 8.03 should of turned out a high 12.5 or a much lower 12.6 __________________
damn wade...... with the mods you have listed that is pretty damn good!! (or did i miss some new mods you have done??? lol)
Just CMR tune, BWoody Intake and Borla S exhaust. By no way am I knocking the time I ran I just wanted better considering the ideal weather conditions I was just irritated that the track prep was sub par and most of us there could not capitalize on a good night to run. My trap speed is the highest it has ever been so that tells me it is making great power just need it all to come together off the line to get a true run in
Brother your hauling ass for your mods. I had headers on mine and was running the 12.5's, only difference in our mods.
Sorry missed that last post, I am in Waco/Woodway not sure when I will be at the track next maybe this Friday will PM you when I go next
Just hope it does not rain much on Thursday morning but it should be okay. Thanks for serving our Country Gregg pass that on to your soldiers as well we appreciate all that you do.
Probably leaving house around 5pm should be there at 6 look for the red jeep and red SRT10 RC truck were rolling to the track together from Waco
1/4 mile time: 12.64 Trap Speed: 106.6 Weight of vehicle with driver (pounds): 5080 Horsepower @ flywheel = 488.73 HP Those are some amazing numbers for your mods.
