A huge congratulations must go to the guys at Horse Power Factory (HP/F) Dandenong VIC Australia who competed in and won the Sachs Masters Automotive Challenge over this past weekend held in Sydney Australia at the Sydney Exhibition Center. It is an automotive mechanic, skills based competition that has the best of the best (teams of) mechanics/workshops from around Australia competing against each other, for not only the title of SACHS Masters 2009, or for bragging rights as the countries best automotive technicians but also for a cool $15,000. Paul, Marty and Ian from HP/F were not only chosen/qualified to compete in this years competiton (first time ever) against such companies as BMW (last years winners who they went up against directly and beat), major dealerships, engineers and teachers to name a few, they took out first place with 154 scored points with BMW coming in second with 150 points. Bloody top effort in my books and the guys should be congratulated for their top efforts. It again just highlights the knowledge talent and expertise that comes out of HP/F who are not only an independant operation but an operation that can hold there own against (and beat) the so called creme of the crop. I am definitely very lucky to have these guys in my corner and this win really does just show the talent down there at HP/F. First year competing and entering and they take out first place. Well done guys! Details on the comp.... http://www.sachsmasters.com/about.htm http://www.aaaa.com.au/
Nothing like gaining TOP honors, and the guys at HP/F most certainly deserve this honor. Please send a HUGE congratulations to them from us here in the USA...
Thanks Hal, and will pass it on to them. Tell me about it. Very fortunate thats for sure. And it shows Thanks Ron, I most certainly will.
I know that your comfort level has risen even HIGHER (not that it was low lol) after their top honor? Now get me some damn video's of your monster in action. hehe
I know what you are saying. Basically (and refering back to my build), I was quite at ease to write a list of what I wanted, and relay what I wanted from them and the car during meetings with the gys at HP/F to then just walk away and let them do what they needed to in order for US (yes they wanted this too) to achieve the ultimate goal - a one off power house that stands out from anything else with numbers to back it up. Almost there Action video's coming and I am dying to get to the track. Just waiting on tyres/rims to come in and a clear day and day off. Will be very soon I promise. You don't build something like this to not race.
