ok guys i installed it on 91 oct. and i fuckin love it, it might be old for some but new to me so im still like WOW..lol..nice spin on 1st to 2nd! ok now i have a question i have 06 300srt8 never got the flash for autostick upshift, do i need that or can i turn that on, on the diablo? if so how? thanks in advance! cant wait to get my techco intake tomorrow along with my afcos!!yay!! lol!:grin:
The auto upshift is within the TCM. You might have to get a CMR tune to correct that, but I am unsure? Maybe as the question in the Diablo section.
No. You cannot turn it ON with the Predator. If you get the flash (TSB), you can turn it OFF with the Predator. So get the flash and you can go either way.
I don't know where you are locatied but call josh at HHP. If you like the upgrade you got then a CMR tune will make you crazy lol.
i did the flash when it first came out (pre-predator days) and hated the way the car drove. did like the auto upshift because i never hit the rev limiter, but the normal manners of the car, especially the 1 - 2 shift when smoking the tires was horrible. the pred and a new torque convertor got the car to drive nice and shift like a champ!!! no more 1 - 2 bog like after the flash!! do like quick said and get it, so you can then have the choice to go either way with the pred!!
Congrats! The Predator really wakes these cars up. Wait till you have it on for a while, then go back to stock for dealership work. It'll feel like a complete dog. Like Chris said, get the TSB done, and then it's your choice for Autostick options
