Marc finally agreed to let me go this year. I won't be bringing Maddy, but she'll be coming next time. In the meantime, woowoo, party!! :ronlove:
Okay, gotta stop doing the happy dance and start planning. Figure I leave by 1 am, I can get to the Doubletree in time for breakfast and head to the car wash for a detail. Not bringing a ton of crap, so everything will fit in the trunk. Pack the pop-up just in case, plus cameras and a laptop. Fit my stuff in a backpack, yep. All set. Have I mentioned I'm excited yet? This is my first big event since the baby. :dance4:

Just need to shake the whole masochist thing... or is it sadist. Hmm... :grin: Anyway, got my trip route worked out, got my playlists tuned up, getting some car maintenance done Saturday. Going to charge up the camera, laptop, radios, pack a change of clothes and stuff and I'll be ready to go. Have to be sure I actually sleep the night before instead of staying up like I have in the past. Always bites me in the rear. :doh:

Yep..you did. We shook hands and chatted as we were leaving the Stack Performance area (about the time of the Challenger reveal). I was talking to you about how the "chafing" issue that apperantly started your car fire...sorry to hear about that.
What a long, eventful, awesome day. From getting here at 4:30 am and finding out about Hal's mishap, to seeing all my buddies, to speaking my mind a bit, to the show itself, to dinner with Ron, Maureen, Stevo, Stevo's gf (I suck I can't remember her name, Michelle?), and Charles, to the guy with the gawdawful pants...(post coming later), to hanging out with the usual suspects outside the hotel lobby, to now trying to get some sleep. Yeah, awesome all round. Oh and sorry I was so damn chatty at dinner and harping about Ron's mustache and beady eyes. Am I fired yet? :grin:
