That cam sounds badass in the 5.7 Charger. What is the LSA on it? Are the specs the same as the SRT Max with the only difference being the LSA? I wish the 6.1 could sound like that?

It has a more aggressive LSA with some overlap to give it that lope, lope, lope.. :)

As the website says...not recommended for a 6.1. Piston to valve clearance issues I would assume. Bud, if you want a nasty sounding cam, call Stu up and talk to him...he can tell you as tight as you can go. Be warned...going too tight wanting that sound may result in having to retard the cam...and will lose some low end grunt...not mention be a bear to tune.

I personally never knew why someone would want their ride to sound like that. Sounds cool?...you bet....but you can't trick the guy next to you when it sounds like that. Jeez, the custom cam I ground for my 500 ci stroker in my '67 makes it idle @ 750 rpm and sound like it's a stock 383. Not THAT is Stealth...

I'm in my early 20s and have always wanted a cam that sounds ridiculous:ilovesrtc: I'll grow out of it in a few years.

    No Testing for how long?...

I'm late 20's and still don't like the sound...unless I'm in a open header '68 Dart Drag Car.

I've got the SRT Max installed in my car last week, 115LSA, and is perfect. JUST a hint...but pretty close to stock...where Mike has the idle.

Speaking of Idle, is it normal practice to have the Park / Neutral Idle lower then the In Gear Idle. That is how Mike has it in his base tune. Just against norm when you put it in gear and the engines revs UP.

The cam with the other stuff Installed at the same time make 3/4 throttle now feel like full did before. The car is an animal!

We've had no emmissions testing for over 10 years now. FL needs to the revenue from having as many cars as possible on the road. Re-implementing emmissions would take half our cars off the road...lol. By the way, glad to hear you are happy with the SRT Max. I should have mine installed next week. Can't wait.
