Anyone know why when I go back to stock and go back to reload my custom tune it is no longer on the Diablo???
mine does the same thing, I think there is a special way that you have to save the custom tune? someone help some brothers out here:unsure:

I have also experienced the same. Maybe Mike from Diablo can chime in and explain. I does suck to return to stock tune to go to the dealer and not have the Diablo hold the B&G tune for the next install.
It does this for me as well. I learned my lesson last time when I went to the dealer and went to Irwindale right after. I wasn't about to drive 30 miles home just to put in the CMR tune so I ran with the canned tune. Now I just revert the tune back to stock before I leave the pad, reload the custom tune on the Predator, and later when I want to put the tune back in I can. PIA though?
That was done so that no one could "steal" custom tunes. That was one reason the handheld was delayed a month so Wesley and company could eliminate tune stealing. However that can be worked around by hacking the handheld.
How did you lose it? You need to have it on your PC in order to download the tune to the Predator. Do you have a copy of your custom tune saved on your PC?
After you reload your OEM tune it clears all custom tunes out its memory. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Your not alone Wade and there is no problem with your Predator, we all have this issue.
I believe it is that way so if you were to use this on another vehicle the Predator would be free and clear of your tunes.
That would be it. When you do a restore original backup it "resets" the predator. Part of that is wiping the custom tune storage (they wouldn't work on another car anyway). I suppose they could have put in an option for trips to the dealer. Something like restore original backup with/without resetting the predator. But then you would have the following problem. If the dealer flashes the PCM for a TSB or calibration update then the predator (and the tunes in it) would be out of sync with the car. Probably best to reset both sides when restoring the car to stock.
I beleive you have to have the tune saved to your PC. When you go back to stock using the Diablo, it resets everything on the Predator. I went through this a few weeks ago....
You also have to revert to your backup (and wipe out all custom tunes off the predator) if you accidentally bump the OBDII cable while loading a tune ... I know. Cut my track day a little short.
on my msrt8,my sunroof had alot of wind noise and was not closinig all the way.took it to the dealership, the wanted to do that ''starscan'' to try and close it.i had to detune it back to stock.
