Moroso sent us the first set of tanks to test and approve for production, and here are some pics (from my iPhone) on my Challenger R/T. They are awesome, and going to get our stamp of approval for sure!! Of course, I put on a black nylon braided hose with a tiny black fitting for the coolant overflow line. The power steering tank is pretty cool inside with the tray to prevent a lot of sloshing during road course use! Here are some pics of the tanks before we installed them. These are SO sweet, guys!! The first batch is on the way here for all who pre-ordered, for everyone else these are still available EXCUSIVELY@ BMC Performance! We were pushing Moroso to build these tanks for the past few years, I am glad they have these out now...they are sweet!
The first batch of Moroso tanks arrived here today!! We will get them all out tomorrow, and you will have tracking numbers today via email. If you want a set of tanks, we are still offering free shipping and currently are the only source for these Moroso products!
you know I was thinking about this .. do you recommend your customer to get these painted, powdercoated or anodized? Aluminum will not corrode, but it will change color over time. If it gets wet and stays wet for a little bit, or if you live in an area where it snows, the constant moisture .. even the residue from driving in snow after salts laid down will make the thing oxidize? I would shoot some clear over the tank if you like the look or get in coated in something .. just my thought
