Cindy and I where having a late dinner last night at IHOP in Dublin. We worked till after 9. We're sitting there and someone walks up with this puzzled look on his face, he looked familar, and questions, "Hal?", I immediatley recongnize Anthony before his identifies himself. Those that don't know Anthony, know as Udluuz on the boards, was the quickest LX way back when, ran an 11.51 @ 122 at Sacramento. That was a few weeks before I ran a 122 at SpeedWorld. He was the quickest and fastest at that time. He had a reworked GSM Paxton SC. He also holds the dyno record, I believe, at 838, with his second stage of N2O not firing. This may fall heavy in the next week on one of our Vendors dyno's. Anthony owns VIP MMA in Pleasanton, CA. They train Mixed Martial Arts cage fighters, train in law enforcement, corporate wellness, fitness, street survival, and provide executive protection. It was good to see Anthony. We only met in person once, but had talked on the phone quite a few times, but not recently. I was amazed he recongnized me from our one meeting over 2 years ago. Anthony told me he will be at SpringFest this year. So yesterday was really cool. We had lunch with Tamara and Maddy, and chatted with Anthony for 15 to 20 minutes at dinner.
haha that is awesome Hal. Anthony is truly a great person. Glad he did recognize you though. Hehe Small world for sure.
Ya, he seems like a cool dude. Hope he gets back to the track soon, that car should lay down some sick ET's.
Hal... I thought that you were suppose to be watching what you eat.... IHOP doesn't have ANYTHING healthy in there... not even the strawberries they use... they are covered in a jam...
Its not what you eat, its how much...though yeah, have to really search for the heart-heathy stuff at IHOP.
very cool story...... it is always amazing how we can run into people we think are total strangers but yet when we hear the screen name we instantly know them!!! seems like everytime i go to a local show, people never know my name, but if i say "legmaker" they instantly know who i am!!! lol
Grilled chicken breast, steamed brocolli, and a dinner salad with blue cheese dressing. Ice tea with lemon. So there.
Did you really really need the blue cheese dressing? They got vinegar and oil there. (can't let him off that easy)
