So I was debating going to Spring Fest for just a short time and there wasnt a doubt that I wanted to go ... I got a great rate on the flight and even John (8yourM5) offered to let me crash with him ... Business has been slow (obviously you guys can tell as I'm on the forum more frequent) I recently laid off 5 guys and business is not looking up. I can sell/call/blow whoever I want, but the problem with all my projects is still lack of funding. Fortunately, the aerospace, food service etc. is helping us maintain some level of profitability ... That being said ... I will be passing up my opportunity to go to Spring Fest this year. I know its over the weekend, but I would like to make it a couple extra days since I have never been to CA before .. I dont think I should be enjoying myself on vacation while I have guys sitting at home ... it would kinda feel like taking a bonus from AIG .. I couldnt do it .. have fun guys .. post pics :cry2:

I am far from perfect, I will still be taking the day Monday to attend Dan and Rob's track day, but I wont be missing the 4 - 5 days I was planning on ... I am a definite for next year though. BTW - I'm gonna need that karma on track day so I dont pull a Grinner! LOL!
So sorry your plans are foiled! I'm sure that would have been an exciting trip for you to take, let alone seeing all the awesome rides of the west coast! I have many friends on the west coast too. However, I am planning attending the MOPAR SHOW OFF in Orlando, Fla on April 5th! This one too is going to be a blast and a lot closer for me! You surely are a stand up guy for the way you feel about your employees and I applaud you for that! Jim

jim - be absolutely sure to look me up when you are in orlando!!!! my car will be in the billet tech booth and i will be doing some of the judging for the car show. i live practically 10 mins from where the show is held and i will be looking forward to meeting a lot of new peeps out there!!! i still can't believe how big this show is turning out to be!!! woo-hoo!!! anthony - there is always next year!!! i am missing this one as well, but i will be there next year for sure!!!
