If you know me everyones out to get me "kidding" but while taking care of registration on one of my trucks "on Californias gross poluters list" I got to thinkin, back when I had my 73 Cuda with a 600+HP 340 I had to get it smoged, It passed with flying colors. So this is probably my oldest theory Gas companies took the lead out of gasoline so it would evaporate quiker thus making more money. get the idea! make something up or give us what you heard? by the way I forgot to put Conspiracy Theory down on the favorite movies thread.
i know what your rebuttal to this will be but i'll say it anyways hahahaha...they took the lead out so it wouldn't put lead into the air and therefor give us lead poisoning in cities and other such areas... I think the conspiracies is that they are keeping our MPG down with a contract w/ the gas companies!...hahaha...who knows they could have a 600 mpg SRT8 out there that the head of a gas company drives laughing at us dopes getting 10-20mpg hahaha

as long as we are forced to use gas...then yes we will be bent over...the only thing that will help with the price of gas is if there are cars that can run on something else...so theres not as much demand for gas...they will be forced to lower prices in order to keep people driving gas powered cars... since that aint commin any time soon...keep some vasoline handy! hahahaha
Cant wait to be able to buy prem for 35c a gallon again....yeah, I can remember pumping it into my 69 Impala 350/300HP at that price...and it was 98 octane..
GM could have produced their electric car over 2 decades ago but Exxon and a host of others kept their "interest" in gasoline powered rides...then "distracted" them some to look further into hybrid tech vehicles. Now, with the Chevy Volt project Oil companies are scrambling lol...idk, but it sounds close. hehehe
I hope to god you're just goofing. Everyone on here realizes that gas is a publicly traded commodity and most of the mark up per gallon comes from taxes levied on it right?
